I imagine if Ash cameos in Horizons it would be like a 3 part story and it would start with Captain Pikachu getting into a squabble with this random Pikachu who's appeared. Eventually they figure out the Pikachu is in distress and follow it, to end up finding and saving its trainer, Ash.

I'm with you on Dundun. Maybe a terastalized one, and he rushes it to Nurse Joy to make sure it's okay and learns about terastalization from her.
I wouldn't mind seeing Swellow for an episode, and find out it's electric tera typed, explaining thunder armor.
But really, any pokemon with the right interests and backstory would work.
I also thought of James for Gimmighoul, since he collects bottle caps, and collecting the coins could be similar.

My Ash horizon team team A a mix of old and New Pokemon 1, Pikachu 2, Charizard 3, Lucario 4, Lokix 5, Cyclzar 6, Palafin Team B all new 1, Pikachu 2, Meowscarada 3, Armarouge he needs more Psychic types 4, Palafin 5, Baxcaliber through he gets the Psudolegendary every second generation so since he got Dragonite in Journey so he might not get it so Roaring Moon since he now owns both a Mythical and a Ultrabeast Ash could catch a Paradox Pokemon 6, Anileape since Primeape got a new evolution in Paldia so it the perfect time to bring him back he managed to bring Pidgeot back so Primeape still has a chance.
Ash's final episode is not completed, there's something missing in this episode: Giovanni telling to Matori to study the doomsday project information; Team Rocket's doomsday project builded; Team Rocket tries to steal Ash's Pikachu again; Officer Jenny saving Ash and Pikachu from the Team Rocket; Team Rocket's Doomsday Pod arriving in Pallet Town; Gary's Umbreon saving Ash and Delia from the Team Rocket's Doomsday Pod; Professor Oak sending messages to regions and all of Ash's friends through Pidgey; Ash reuniting all of his old friends (Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles, Mallow, Goh and Chloe); Tracey shows to Gary a photo of the Team Rocket's doomsday project; Ash and all of his old friends teams up with Gary and the members of Project Mew to fight against Team Rocket; Members of the Project Mew arrives to Team Rocket's Doomsday Project; Ash, his old friends and Gary goes into the Team Rocket's doomsday project; Team Rocket Grunts surrounding Horace and Lyla; Ash and his Pikachu defeating the Team Rocket Grunts; Team Rocket Grunts surrounding and taking Danika and Quilon to the temporary command center; Ash and Pikachu goes to the Team Rocket's Doomsday Machine; Giovanni capturing Ash and his Pikachu; Team Rocket locked Pikachu in the cage; Ash is locked in the cage by Giovanni ("But, in every game, there are winners and there are losers. Why didn't the Japanese producers and writers try harder to bring all of Ash's old friends into the final episode? I always say because the final episode isn't complete without all of Ash's friends. The Japanese producers and writers don't want to continue with Ash getting together with all his friends to fight Team Rocket, they don't want to plan Ash and Giovanni's final battle, they just keep ignoring all the plans.
While watching the last episodes I waited for something like that to happen or atleast a final showdown were Ash and Team Rocket give a incredible battle something like Red's Assault to to TR headquarters in the games

Ok Gooey, I cannot see ash returning without Pidgiot on his team. It rejoined ash's team in his last episode as a main character. The writers would have to be smoking something to not have pidgiot on his team when he returns.

If it were up to me, I'd have Ash randomly show up and reveal that he got his Primeape back, and the RageMon became a RageGhostMon. That, and every Pokémon he has whose species was used in one of the 7-Star Raid events would use the Mightiest Mark.

Basically they would all have their tera types the same as their primary types
Pikachu could get flying though. It would give him an immunity to ground but as he has no flying type moves and I don't see him getting tera blast anytime soon, idk

@@carterryans yeah... While palafin is a logical choice for Ash, I'd rather he doesn't have it cos it's based on a fully aquatic animal that can't get around on land much. Yeah its hero form can stand but it's still not enough for proper land mobility. Hopping only gets you so far. Plus it's completely immobile out of water without transforming, something it can't do without switching, and above all that, the way to get finizen to evolve is nuts. I don't see how Ash will be able to pull that off in the anime
That's why I went with Quaquaval. It's not only a starter AND a bird (which kills two birds with one stone) but it's also the only water type in Paldea that isn't fully aquatic or completely immobile like wugtrio who is stuck in a rock
The only other option was Paldea Tauros but he has enough bulls already and Iron Bundle.... No

If Ash returns in the anime one good idea is Primeape to come back to Ash as Pidgeot did in the final episode and evolve it in Paldea to Annihilape.
I have my own thought of Ash's Paldea team. Pikachu, Cyclizar, Bombirdier, Ceruledge, Roaring Moon, and Iron Valiant.

Ash will be The AI Robot alongside an AI Pikachu down in Area Zero and the Final Fight of Paldea because Professors Sada or Turo have not appeared at all yet in Pokemon Horizons. I get a feeling they will not even be Canon here which disrupts this take on the games because Arven and his Arc is just so emotionally deep. It will be a missed opportunity and hopefully that ends up being wrong.
The PKC will do this to make you all cry knowing Ash died protecting Koraidon or Miraidon with Pikachu....Or Mt Silver in 2027 it is 😉.
If Ash does have a Goldengho, the episode where he first shows up could have the new characters helping him out looking for one last Gimmighoul coin.
I think armarouge will suit ash a lot in fact I think if that ever happened armarouge will be the badass Pokemon in his team
Ash is definitely going to be an odd ball in paldea region compare it's natives, like the guy is the champion of alola, aura wielder, holder of the battle bond, world champion, and also help save a region and sometimes there world or even reality. Like what the hell, even in other regions he's not as much as an odd ball, Galar is home to some of the strongest trainers, alola has wandering legendary pokemon, kalos has the whole grenninja legend and world ending scenario, sinnoh is home of the frontier brains, and etc. Like seriously him stopping a time machine is something he has done before times by a legendary

If I were to make the teams
Team one would be: Pikachu, Lucario, Incinaroar (to give it more time to shine) Baxcaliber, Anilalape (just to bring back Ash's Primape and evolve in paldea) and Archaludon (Duraludon's evo and it would be fun if Ash has a dlc exclusive mon)
Then Team 2 would be: Pikachu, Hydrapple (same thing for Archaludon) Palafin (Ash's ace for paldea and fun to use) Skeledirge (fits Ash well and his starter for paldea) Dudunsparce (to redeem dunsparce ash wanted to catch since forever) Hisuian Zoroark. I know it's confusing but hear me out. #1: Hisuian pokémon aren't extinct so we can catch em in the wild.
#2: Ash never got the chance to catch an Hisuian pokémon before
And #3: to be honest Hisuian Zoroark fits Ash (in my opinion)
If Hisuian pokémon aren't allowed, then Zoroark would be replaced by Cyclizar cause it would be fun for Ash to ride on one 😁

These are my thoughts on what Ash's team could be like if he does return: Pikachu of course, Pidgeot only because he returned to ash in his last episode. Now for the paledean region pokemon my first choice is Lokix why as Nymble he looks weak and you know Ash likes a weak pokemon to train to eventually become strong. 2nd is Armourage. 3rd is Cetitan. 4th I'm going with Primeape who will eventually evolve to Annihilape, I think us fans are begging Ash to reunite with Primeape again. So that's my prediction we have Pikachu, Pidgeot, Armourage, Lokix, Cetitan and Annihilape. Actually even I might give this team a go in my pokemon scarlett only problem is there's no pidgey to catch lol. If I have to replace pidgeot I would go with Greavard but not have it evolved cause just read its pokedex entry on the vioelt game it feels like a Ash pokemon
