I am 37 years old. My beard started going gray rapidly 3 years ago. I was under a lot of stress the last 3 years so i think there is definetly a link between stress and your hair (beard) turning gray. My beard use to be black-dark brown. Now with a lot of gray its kind of salt-pepper look. I personally think it makes me look old(er) and the beard doesnt look as strong as before. Generally people think it looks good on me but I like the dark beard better ...
Facts, I literally greyed out in the last 3yrs, from 41-44 my present age.
And it was certainly due to crushing stress.

In primates, humans included, gray patches in beards showed dominance to males and females alike. The simple fact that you survived to the ripe age of graydom meant you had resources and wherewithal to survive and withstand environmental pressures. It looks like some of that is still hanging around today.
I'm 52 years old. I have plenty of grey hairs with black and I rock it very well.
Many men would kill to have a totally grey or white beard, it shows wisdom and yes, women like it 👍🏆.

I started graying towards my late 20s. By the time I was 36 the graying had escalated to the point I started dyeing my hair and beard. I recently got tired of dyeing and kinda just left it. I am 48, fitness enthusiast, and I have great skin, in good health with a body many younger men would envy. To my shock, some much younger women think I look cool. I have two daughters and I would never have affairs with much younger women

My beard is gray, and I am not coloring/colouring it.
My beard was 30 cm, until yesterday . I trimmed it to 2 cm last night.
It was way too long and I was tired of people telling me I looked dirty, poor, homeless or the like.
My beard pops when it is dyed. Lines show better, beard looks healthier & thicker! Gray makes my skin look washed out.
I have been thinking about it. One guy at work put some dye in his beard and it looks way better. Got me thinking about it again.

Ive had salt and pepper beard since 30 I dyed it for years now my head hair and beard are salt and pepper and I shaved everything off last year and im growing my beard back now and Im just gonna embrace it like my dad does the bald spot
If u were a good looking guy to begin with, yes, salt n pepper can look good. If u were ugly, salt n pepper beard makes u an ugly guy with salt n pepper beard. I grow mine not to look like Brad Pitt or Clooney, but it hurts to shave everyday, n my wife of 30 yrs loves me regardless of how I look.
My gray (salt & pepper) is more like unintentional and I like it that way; I do shampoo, condition, oil and brush but no pretty barber line please.
My girl hates beards and mine is all grey due to stress so it's worse and she causes the grey I'm only 57 also so I'm screwed either way

You can always tell when a beard is dyed, especially when it starts to grow out. If you dont keep doing it is obvious
