Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Hes been attacking me this week through my kids. Bringing up my past. I'm a single mom & I struggle. My flesh was week & because of the attacks I relapse. Pray for me. I'm trying. I love God! What a wrench I am.
Olivia, I will pray for you now, tho I see your comment is from three years ago. We are all wretched. It’s our unavoidable human condition. We have a Mighty Savior! We must leave our past failures in the past. God forgives us, then chooses to forget them. Do not allow the enemy to remind you, even through the comments of loved ones. Keep your eyes focused on your Savior, & His finished work on the cross on your behalf! 🙏🏼💛
Face your past. How can you overcome Satan when you fear him? You can keep your skeletons in your closet in this world but you will face them in the next or you will only find yourself in torment for all eternity.
This is what understanding why you need a savior is all about.
You say what a wrench you are but when others tell you why (your kids) you become at dis ease?
Realizing how horrible of a person you are and have been is the first step of overcoming and willing to carry your own cross.
@@sherylcooper369 salvation is not found in the future. It is found in the past. Our mistakes and experiences are forgiven when we learn why it was bad and witness to the consequences of our choices and stand accountable (true repentance). If we do not do this and continue to bury the past we are doomed to repeat the past. It is the past and those who have died so we may live that are honored by returning to our roots.
Everything you think you know and have been taught are an absolute lie right down to the very foundation you stand upon.

Oh how many times has my attention been tested while listening to this sermon. Nonsense after nonsense flying in my face. I say GLORY TO THE LAMB FOR HE IS WORTHY OF ALL GREATNESS. Though the snake nibbles at the heel of this saint, JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY crushed his stupid head to paste! Right on the cross. HALLELUJAH! I AM FREE!!! When the holy spirit is in me, it takes over me with GOD'S almighty power. I noticed that in thoughs moments nothing evil dares to get get next to me. I am brave, fearless, and pertected with God's love.
When JESUS was rejected people did not know who they were rejecting.
If the spirit is in you it does not leave. If it does leave it is impossible to receive it again as it is written Hebrew 6:4.
If you have the spirit there is absolutely no mistaking it just as another one of these sermons describes it is just as knowing you have been electrocuted. You will know.
