We finally went to church service on Christmas. Unfortunately, we were reminded why we had stopped going in the first place. Colored lights moving all around the sanctuary and music so loud that the walls seemed to vibrate. These sermons: No colored lights all around. No mega speakers blasting sounds they now call "worship music". *Just the Word and it's teaching.* Perfect. Profound. Satisfying our souls.
I’m so glad we have preserved these sermons.. they start my day and give the words of our GOD for teaching. Thank You LORD for speaking to us through your Pastors
51 years ago,shortly after becoming a believer in Jesus Christ (by God's grace) providentially I soon discovered in a religious book store Charles Spurgeon's Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit volumes of sermons...all available today by Pilgrim Pub., then also Martyn Lloyd-Jones' "Sermon on the Mount, Studies in," those two (others too) but these two and Albert Martin's cassette tapes started me on my way...2nd to the bible that I began first and read profusely. Now, older, cannot read as fast, it saddens me much...but I have you wonderful folks giving the church in the world all of this. From bottom of my heart, Thank You! wl

Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola illuminates many of the reasons why we have slowly drifted away into the trap…

I know for a fact that Charles Spurgeon preached with the love of God in his heart. No guile, no malice, no envy, no strive just pure Holy love for the Church of Christ.
