I'm still enjoying my AK SE300 (R2R) for smoother treble. I will perhaps upgrade to AK SP3000T Copper limited edition dap in future. I prefer neutral with subbass boost and I really enjoy the warm from real tubes.
Actually, we do compare them throughout the video! The main differences covered are: ✅ Screen size (5.5" on SP3000 vs. 4.1" on SP3000M) ✅ Port configuration (3 jacks on SP3000 vs. 2 on SP3000M) ✅ Chassis material (stainless steel on SP3000 vs. aluminum on SP3000M) ✅ DSD upsampling capabilities on SP3000M ✅ Weight and portability comparable to the SR35 ✅ SP3000M sound signature almost indistinguishable from SP3000 The most detailed technical comparison starts right off the bat at 0:46. Yes, it comes with a yellow leather case. But we also sell a black pr blue leather case option if you prefer another color. www.moon-audio.com/products/sp3000m-leather-case
The choice would likely depend on which headphone(s) you want to drive. Reach out to us at the link below and we'd be happy to help! 🙂 🔗 www.moon-audio.com/pages/contact-us
I own the Kann Ultra and am looking at the 3000M because the Ultra is massive and not portable enough to say take out on a walk or even just walking around the house, I mean you can, but I only use it when stationary due to it's size. Also have issues with the wi-fi on the Ultra which I believe is pretty common, and the Roon Ready integration does not work well either, constantly drops out on me which could be due to my network setup but another common complaint.
Even though I already own two FiiO DAPS (as well as a Shanling), I'm getting the M23 next week, just because it's an almost-new unit at a greatly reduced price.
I’m still enjoying my SP3000 in conjunction with the Focal Utopia Headphones. They’re perfect together. 💯

Even the audio of this video is excellent..
Thank you! Appreciate your feedback. 🙂
Wonder if the copper shields better than aluminum for EMI and RFI?
The intro cracked me up LOL nice one! 🤣👏🏻👍🏻
I was waiting for your review.
Do you think that there will be a SP4000 soon?
We saw your question on the preview video and did our best to answer it at 9:21! 🙂
@ Thanks for the answer! I can wait for the SP4000.
Why no comparison between sp3000 and sp3000m??

You said the SP3000M comes with a case but on your website it's an add-on. Is there a case in the box already?

does it pair well with 64 audio volur?
Torn between the 3000M and the Kann Ultra. Which would be the best choice.

sp3000m divides the philes from the audiophiles. The lack of extension and soundstage due to the DAR is quite obvious.
