Sir can you please explain that why E= quality factor for longitudinal weld joints and not circumferential weld joints?
This is due to hoops stress.
Sir, In control station assembly why do we select control valve one size less than pipe size.
Sir Correct me if im wrong..... Its bcoz of cost as instruments material are costly
Sir schedule 20 also 9.53 mm (higher than our calculated size 7.54 mm) thickness..can I choose schedule 20 also
For 24" size, Sch. 20 and Sch. STD is same, i.e. 9.53 mm thk.
In which code does Pipe tolerance is mentioned
Pipe tolerance is mentioned in the code of pipe material like ASTM A106, API 5L, etc.
In standard the answer for 610 dn is 6.3 mm not 7.11
