So I turned overdrive off so it stays in third gear at high speeds because if it goes in to fourth, it doesn’t have enough power to go over 95, mainly because those trucks aren’t meant to go over 95😂
Well, after putting lt headers on a 5.7 345; you might disagree my friend. There’s lot of them on TH-cam, my 5.7 had some and made a difference. Too a simple quiet flow master too.

Yeah, I have a really good set up for the game. I got an aftermarket shifter ball and a racing chair. Also I understand back when Jimmy Carter was president Cars only went up to 85 which was good because you don’t have to be tempted to get up to 140 like I do cars have speeds they don’t go up to just to fill in the gaps it doesn’t reach that speed from the factory but you can buy removing the limiters and turbocharging it or supercharging it
Man that's really damn good for a 28 year old truck, my dad has the same truck but is a 2001 with the 5.2 318 and the offroad package!

That 5.2 is a real lemon engine we see all type of dodges in my dads mechanic shop. Wouldn’t recommended them

@@drside2353that’s true and these 46re’s really don’t like shifting into 4th it isn’t supposed to at high rpm’s since it’s a overdrive gear

No. 10-12 mpg at best.
Honestly you never expect to get good mpg with these old trucks It has a big gas tank for a long distance but expect over $100 for fill up of course

magnum trucks arent good on gas tbh, but they are extremely reliable and great. So expect low mileage, but lots of reliability and power
