    GMR-15™ 9mm Carbine
    Our best-selling GMR-13™ set our reputation in the 9mm carbine market as “the one that works.” With the newly redesigned GMR-15™, we’ve taken everything that works and only added more. Last round lock back, an improved magazine release and a flared mag. well are the highlight features of this new receiver. If you’re in the market for solid home defense carbine or PCC game gun now, your timing couldn’t be better.
    The GMR-15™ 9mm is a versatile platform that excels in both function and accuracy. Complete carbine builds are available with either our forged JP-15™ or PSC-17™ dual-charging upper that includes our 9mm Silent Captured Spring standard. The end result is a system that cycles with virtually no recoil. That equates to extremely fast sight recovery with solid 3 MOA accuracy from a pistol cartridge usable out to 100 yards.
    With the high-performance ammunition available from many manufacturers, the GMR-15™ makes a solid choice for a competitive match carbine (especially considering the cost savings of 9mm ammo over .223) and is also well-suited to home defense applications given its impressive .357 magnum-comparable ballistics with a carbine-length barrel. The lack of concussion in enclosed spaces and greatly limited over-penetration issues when compared to most rifle cartridges only enhance its suitability in this arena.
    Designed with the needs of law enforcement in mind, the GMR-15™ accepts the same G17 pistol magazines as Glock 9mm pistols for carbine/sidearm compatibility. Complete military and law enforcement packages include our own JP select-fire trigger setup for precision trigger control in both semi- and full-auto modes. As with all JP rifles, the GMR-15™ comes with parts and service readily available from a trusted US manufacturer.

    I received my GMR 15 back with corrected repairs from JP in time to compete in the area 5 PCC Championship Match this past April. The GMR 15 functioned flawlessly .The match was a blast of fun. I shoot 12 stages, 450 rounds in one day. Did fairly well for my first PCC match.. JP was the sponsor of this match and I did get to speak to a JP representative named Gunner. He explained that they were having problems with the GMR15 receivers being too tight to accommodate a fully loaded Glock 9mm magazine. The solution to correct the problem was to mill out the mouth of the receiver as they did to my rifle. The JP representative Mr. Gunner I met at the match took time to look at my rifle and my Glock magazines and answered all my questions. I was impressed with the attention I was given. As a result some confidence has been restored. The question is , would I buy another JP rifle? I will know the answer after I shoot 5,000 rounds of ammo through it. Take care and be safe.

    Glad your back feeling better. The combination or sickness and rain in East GA has kept me out of matches for 3 weeks now. If I could request a PCC could you review the Sig MPX. I am in between the MPX and GMR-15. Best of Luck this season

    When are you going to review the MPX or CMMG Guard 9? Their bolt action makes them unique and the MPX is the flattest shooting PCC on the market~ CMMG as well~ Thanks~

    What color is that? Looks like bronze in some angles and grey in others. Pretty sweet

    Had to send my GMR 15 back to JP for repair. Two other members in my gun club purchased GMR 15s and are having the same problem. This problem was also published in a gun review. The Glock mags should always drop freely when you push the mag release. This is a common failure on the GMR15s but not all of them. JP is not consistently checking the GMR 15s before sent to the customers. For the price you are paying no customer should have this problem. I don't consider the JP GMR 15 the bench mark.

      That is a Vortex SparcAR. I would probably go with the Razor Red Dot if I was going to get way into PCC.

    Hi, I purchased a GMR 15 and I'm having a problem with the Glock Magazines. None of the Glock Magazines including the 31 , 17 and 14 round mags will drop freely from the mag well upon pushing the mag release button. I have to pull the magazines out with my hand after pushing the magazine release. Please advise.

      I think that is a good idea . I'm registered for the up-coming PCC only Area five championship and JP Enterprises is sponsoring this match . Hopefully I will get my gun back from them in time to shoot the match. I do plan to have a talk with them since they will have a exhibit booth at the match. My hope is that they can resolve this mag well problem for other potential shooters. Take care and be safe.

    What's up with rotating and shooting the weapon on an angle in some vids. Do you think it tightens up the double taps?

    • @arnzenarmsactual
      @arnzenarmsactual 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all. Switching from a magnified optic to either a red dot or irons on a 45 degree angle. Most open shooters use a more powerful optic without a true 1 power and then use a red dot on a 45 degree mount for everything up close because they can. Pure gamer stuff!
