I have now been to 53 of the 54 countries in Africa, and all I can say is that this continent is HUGELY MISUNDERSTOOD AND MISREPRESENTED.
Africa is not all poverty. It's not all dirty or dangerous. In many places, it's quite the opposite -- offering beauty like you would never imagine.

@Rusty Shackleford The media & the west never show the good in Africa, lets be honest. Most of what they talk about is some kidnapping or terrorist activity over there. Which is sad because that just feeds racism and a stereotype of disaster. Really sad, but that just goes to prove that the West is not as perfect as we are told to believe it is.

ruby lynch @ welcome to east Africa do you know British use to live in Kenya mostly Nairobi some of the old buildings are still like London cities like mc Milan library in Nairobi national archive and many more, of course, some of them are still there and some not they use write hand drive like the UK keep left also you will see urself and is got nice safari and Nairobi is the only city in the world with its own national park

@Luke Sheehan I'm African and I partly agree with you. However, being racist isn't the right term. I think victim mentality is the problem. They blame the whites for Africa's problems instead of facing the problems head-on and proffering practical solutions to them.
I want to visit so badly. I enjoy solo traveling though. None of my friends or family would wanna go to Africa, sigh. Guess I’ll plan a trip!

When I think of Africa, the first thing that I have in mind is a beautiful sunset with loads of animals, people listening to music with traditional African instruments, and the pyramids of Giza because I’m Egyptian (north African) 😁

I absolutely hate when people always say “Drew Binsky glorifies shithole countries and never talks about anything bad about it”. It’s just that he doesn’t put the focus of his videos on those topics. He mentions them, and that’s all that matters.

Excited for you to be able to visit Ghana when the time comes. It was my first African country to visit and has given me so many fond memories. The people, the landscape, the culture, the food - all amazing. I still find myself craving ground nut soup and red red. From the bustling city life in Accra, to the beautiful beaches in Busua, to the crocodile ponds and serene rural lifestyle in Paga at the Northern border, I always find myself wanting to go back.
I’ve been to Egypt 🇪🇬 , Tunisia 🇹🇳 , Kenya 🇰🇪 , Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and South Africa 🇿🇦 . I loved all of them but I especially loved Egypt and South Africa probably because they were more tourist friendly

I live in Kenya. Kenya has so much to offer, and has wonderful people. Africa has so much life, and it is easily the most underrated continent on earth. Look past what it seems like, and you'll see beautiful nature, fast developing cities, and wonderful coastlines.

Tell that to China, the biggest lender of loan to Africa., debts growing fast due to corruption and lack of accountability in most African governments

@@moise7648 let's be honest with ourselves as Africans. Yes it's true Africa is not poor in terms of natural resources. However, the citizens are poor sometimes extremely poor. Example is congo with natural wealth. They have resources they nerd to manufacture a phone and computer. But they have higher number of poor people than India and China with two billion people living in them!
