    1. Q value of reaction (E released) is a) = delta(m)c^2 = delta(m)*931.2MeV OR b) =sigma((BE/nucleon)*number of nucleons) [negative for reactants]
    2. decay: N=N(initial)*e^(-lambda*t). same formula for activity
    note: when the decaying gas is being moved to another vessel, the ratio of reactant and product in both vessels is same. 22:00

    I'm getting so much anxious now. I'm not able to decide what should I do now. I regret that why didn't I started watching Adv Boosters from the very start. Should I watch Advanced booster now? Please guide any of my fellow mates.

    • @samarthsahu2893
      @samarthsahu2893 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I think that should depend on your level of preparation. If u have clarity on concepts you can very well use the remaining time to solve *NEW* problems that :
      1) You can get the solutions of.
      2)Are part of your strong chapters and most importantly *GIVE* you confidence over your preparation.
      Feeling anxious is okay, but not for a prolonged time so better put your time into things that will boost confidence, it could either be utilising the booster lectures or solving problems.

    • @faraaz3414
      @faraaz3414 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I guess the best thing to do would be to practice questions from the topics you've covered well, and revise the concepts from ur notes very well..
      Dont watch complete booster series now as only a few days are left and it will consume a lot of time
      U can consider watching those chapters in which u have moderate understanding (maybe jee main level) and want to boost it up to advanced level.
      Also dont start any topic which u haven't even touched, it will just confuse you nothing else

    • @birsajoharadivasi
      @birsajoharadivasi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If u have done enough preparation that u only need to brush the concepts now then u must watch, preferably at fast playback speed. It's not a time to regret dear. Don't let your mind divert in any direction, you will loose your confidence and so the marks. I know anxiety and nervousness are all natural now, to feel a little confident, see PYQs of your strong topics. It's Advanced paper, you don't need to do all the questions.
      All the BEST everyone😊❤.

    27:18 how can we relate %liquid transer from radiactivity of fruit......plzz help??

    • @rohithpeddi
      @rohithpeddi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Like if you have injected radioactive nuclei into about 1000ml(just forsimplicity) and activity of 500 dps, also it is givvenn half life is 10 hours. Now after 10 hrs, if u check the fruit and suppose u find activity as 5 dps. Now actually 1000 ml should have activity 250 dps after 10 hrs. But since fruit has 5dps=> 20 ml oof liqquid came inside. % liquidd transfer=20/1000=2%

    • @rohithpeddi
      @rohithpeddi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Now please so observe that % of liq transfer is independent of volume into which it is injected..5/250 times 100% is only the 2%

    33:49 sir i have one doubt as the radius of nucleus is very small and in that range the nuclear force comes into action whose function we do not know how can we conclude that min kinetic energy should be such that they get to touch each other because it can also be less than that due to nuclear forces. How can we conclude?
