IF THETA C will be less than 45digree then for sure there will be a converging ray as the angle that the ray inside the sphere will make with the radius at that point will also be thetaC and hence the rays will emerge out tangent to the sphere at the point of contact. A m I correct?
@@yashasvi5293 No dude, I think sir might've actually made a mistake over here. You draw the normal with the ray from the centre of sphere and check. If the rays were actually converging the angle of emergence increases when light ray is incident at an angle lower than theta C which is not possible as per snell's law.

What will be the error in measurements of u and v in displacement method experiment. Jee adv 2019 has given it as 2*LC as u and v both will have error. But some foreign author have explained it as 2*LC/2= LC. Thanks for the boosters.
