Guys, it really doesn't get much prettier than Brașov. From the mountains to the Old Town, we found ourselves constantly enchanted by this place. Come along as we explore some of the top things to do in Brasov & find an answer to the question, "Is Brașov Romania's most beautiful city?"

After spending the day in Brasov hiking to the top of Tâmpa Mountain, seeing the Brașov sign, enjoying beers in Brasov Old Town, & ending with traditional Romanian food, it's easy to see why we fell so in love with this place. We spent a week in Brașov & honestly, it wasn't enough. We cannot wait to visit again & hope our top things to do in Brasov vlog inspires you in add Brașov to your list of places to visit in Romania! Im Greek and i was in Brasov two weeks ago! Its so beautiful!
YES!!! It's unquestionably our favorite place in Romania. It has such a different feel to it than most places we've visited. We can't wait to go back & visit again!!!
Large Greek community in Romania, especially in Dobrogea region. We have a strong conection to Greece like Neagoe Basarab and Stephen the Great supporting the Monks at Mount Athos.

Now that I am in Belgium and although I have lots of things to do and places to visit, I will not miss your videos for the world! This one was very nice, I love to hike up mountains even at my old age but I would much prefer to take the lift up and then walk down, much easier, keep up the good work. You guys rock!

Romania is probably the safest place in Europe
Brasov is a very safe city, a lot of police everywhere, when there are problems somewhere, the police special forces come in 3 minutes ,I like this city.

This place looks amazing! It kinda reminds me of Helena ga. This is one of my favorite videos so far. Plus it was a longer video. I miss the funny scenes at the end. Y'all are great!
Thank you so much Eric!!! We've not been to Helena but I have cousins in Dahlonega who absolutely love that region of Georgia. We've not made it over to that area but it's on our list of places to visit in the next few years. As far as the bloopers not being in anymore, I had a feeling you guys might notice😭 The reason we removed that part is because in our metrics, a lot of people (mostly people not invested in our journey, which is TOTALLY cool) would turn the video off when those started which would hurt our metrics. & by doing that, the TH-cam algorithm wouldn't show our videos to people as much. So instead we decided to just keep the bloopers but spread them throughout the video in the areas that they occurred when filming. So they're still in the vlogs, but not all in one part at the end. I PROMISE we're leaving the goofy moments in the videos though. Thank you so much for watching & we can't wait to show you even MORE of this region of Romania. It's a stunner for sure!!!!

We're already so excited for the airport to open so that we can just fly straight in rather than take a train from Bucharest. I was in Brasov at the start of September 2023 and I experienced the city's Oktoberfest! It was fun, somebody even gave me a free beer! Nice city, I enjoyed my time there!

On the other side there are medieval defense towers you can climb to . Not so high 😊 . Anyone going to Brașov walk around the old town , beyond the defense walls. Is a beautiful walk . Just go to the base of the mountains

Ya know, if there's one thing we're most known for, it's our inability to pronounce things correctly most times🤣 However you say it though, it's such a really awesome city. Nice amazing video, thank for that, but the Kurtoskalacs is a traditional Hungarian chimney cake is not Romainan and far as I know they don't even have a translation for it, widely available everywhere in Transylvania and Hungary and in Austria, is a typical Hungarian street food, another traditional street food is the Langos next time give it a go is amazing.

@@marianmirica-zl3wv bagi pulan brasovul ala, are 2 malluri si un centru vechi la marginea orasului, plin de turisti cacaciosi,in rest orasul e fantoma, dar moldovenii apreciaza muntii de langa brasov, de unde si confuzia ca e cel mai frumos oras din tara.
De fapt e orasul cu cel mai frumos relief, ca in rest orasul e plictisitor rau, pustiu, cu exceptia celor 2 malluri si acelui centru vechi la marginea orasului plin de turisti oribili. La gara pustiu, prin cartiere pustiu, iar in centru civic, in afara de mallul ala , e plictiseala , nu vezi nimic, urma de om pe trotuare. toti la autobuze, pentru ca cele 3 puncte ( centru vechi, afi brasov, coresi) toate sunt pe la marginile orasului. un oras penal si plictisitor, dar lumea vine acolo pentru relief, astia cu boraci desigur.

Perhaps the most beautiful german city in .romania.
It’s not German, but Saxon. Brasov was founded by Transylvanian Saxons in the 13th century. They were invited by the Hungarian kings to settle in the region back in the 12th century, and they played a crucial role in the city’s development and governance for several centuries. The Transylvanian Saxons brought their German language, culture, and architectural influence to the area.
Over time, the city became a vibrant center of commerce, crafts, and culture under the influence of the Transylvanian Saxons. Many of the historical buildings and fortifications in Brasov were constructed during this period, reflecting their architectural style.
While the term “German city” can be used to acknowledge the German heritage and influence in Brasov, it is more precise to call it a “Saxon city” because it specifically highlights the historical presence and impact of the Transylvanian Saxons in the city’s formation and development.
