    😁About VideoShowMeHow
    -----------------------------------------------
    ⏩ Where did this start?
    I really enjoy tinkering with different projects - they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It's satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going 'Yeah! Totally did that!'. I had a bunch of mates asking 'how did you know how to do that?' and 'I couldn't never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing :)
    ⏩ What will you find here?
    The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there's ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I'm also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked - fire away :)
    ⏩ What's with the gloves?
    Not after any TH-cam fame here which is why I'm not in the vids - they're not about me they're about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing. Plus adds a little more personality I guess :)
    New videos are being uploaded regularly so if there's something you'd like to see, have Questions and/or Comments drop me a line.
    Cheers guys.
    Adam

    Another great video. Now I wish I did the kid of touring that could justify getting a winch 😂 That’s the first I’ve heard of pre-tensioning the winch rope, but it makes perfect sense.

    I hadn't heard of this brand, but I'm liking the remote. I just got a Kings one for my last car, worked well enough for the limited use I put it through. Will the remote also work if you do install the in cab switch? What are we up to know, 15 grand or so worth of add ons?

    • @VideoShowMeHow
      @VideoShowMeHow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Winch cables aren't usually fused, most winches will draw up to 500amps. You have a certain layer of protection via the solenoid anyway 👍

    Looks like it would block some air flow, might effect the engine temp a touch?

    • @VideoShowMeHow
      @VideoShowMeHow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Have tested this, even with the lights and winch in the temp delta is 0.5-1.0 degree 👍 Bar design makes a big difference. Isuzu have done a great job not shoehorning this engine and giving it lots of temp headroom it seems

    • @VideoShowMeHow
