I have a 2019 CC30H and it is a great residential mower for getting through gates and smaller lawn areas. I will look at the bagger. Thanks for the video. I am replacing the hydrostatic tranny belt today as it is worn.
Thx for the comments Robert. It has been worth its weight in Gold. Its 4 years old now. The last two mowing I have started to notice z slight squeaky sound. Perhaps it is that Tranny belt you mentioned. I have a new blade to put on before the leaves fall. Perhaps I should do them both while I'm at it. Please let me know how it went for you.
Thank you Tom, appreciate the comments on the video. Wish I had time to do one of the oil change with the rubber hose attachment I bought, but it takes my wife to help and we can't both leave my mother in law alone to get out together. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers for my mother in law. These are trying times just to take care of her in the middle of a Virus Pandemic.
Thank you so much for the comments. I never would have expected someone from down under to be watching this video. Just a few days ago I said to a friend that people will probably start making comments soon as we begin to enter into the spring months. It seems like Spring and Fall are when the most comments/questions arise. I really appreciate your feedback. Be safe, be blessed my friend.
Thanks George, but I bought this mower with Hydrostatic drive to go around the trees. I do go around with a 16" battery electric mower to trim then mow. Our only regrets are we don't have a bigger yard and room for more trees. We love to sit in the cool of the shade and have quiet time with our Lord.
Thank you John. This video is nearly a year old and your comment is probably the most memorable comment we have had to date. Thank you so much. We want to do an Oil change video, but with a 95 year old taking all of our time, have not been able to get to it yet. Blessing - Kitt & Cindy Prible
Sorry, wanted to get a video out, but life interfered. Have a 95 year bedridden mother-in-law living with us. She is now taking 24/7 of our time. Hoping next spring to get another opportunity to put it together. Sorry.
Thank you Daisy, my wife Cindy did the camera work. I did the editing and created the music for it (Royalty Free Using SmartSound). I would say your assessment about a half acre and under would be very accurate. I mowed my neighbors yard this summer once - his is about the same size as ours, but he only has 4 trees. I would say I would get bored going round and round year after year and in his case, I would opt for a larger size mower. Our Blessings to you.
Way to go. You are going to love it. My brother just gave me a tip on the bagger. It should help mulch and shredding. He said don't empty the bags when they are full. Instead mow the whole yard. Since the bag and chute are full, the blade will go into mulching mode. Then empty the bags and go over the yard a second time and bag & empty the bags. The mulch material will be much smaller in size and take fewer dumpings. Put the mulch in your garden etc and turn it in with a spade etc. It made sense to me, so I'm game to try it out. The trees are bigger now, so fewer dumpings are okay with me. The bagger fits so good you hardly know it's on. Thx for your comments.
I bought this Cub Cadet Mower about a month ago and I absolutely love it, it fits thru my small gate between my front and back yard and I have 3/4 of an acre but a lot of that is horse property so I only have about between 1/3 and 1/2 an acre of lawn and it'll mow it all in about 20 minutes and the mulch system on it works great and doesn't leave any dead grass clippings anywhere! I also love that it's a rear engine mower so I can see everything right in front of me unlike those big front engine mowers. I had a walk behind Honda for years and it finally shit the bed and I have bad feet with collapsed arches so it was hard for me to use my old walk behind mower to mow the lawn and when I had my walk behind mower and a lot of times I would have to pay someone come mow my lawn for me because it was to hard on my feet and I just couldn't manage to do it myself. After my Honda mower died I looked at getting another walk behind electric mower but instead I decided ponied up the money to get this little Cub Cadet Mower and I am so glad I did because it was definitely worth the money and now I can mow my own yard again and will never have to pay anyone to mow my yard again and it makes it really easy to mow my lawn and it's such a great feeling to be able to mow my lawn and take care of my own yard again! I'm wondering why I didn't buy this mower years ago cuz it's a great machine and will definitely pay for itself in now time flat!👍😁
I'm so glad to hear it. Your description sounds like you are enjoying every minute of it. I've calculated that by the end of next summer, we will be ahead of the game regarding the average cost to mow the yard vs getting someone else to come and do it. I love to get out on it. Kind of hate putting it away in the winter. Have fun, enjoy your iced tea while ride along.
@@KCPrible98 I will definitely enjoy my coke lol and yeah I figured that my Cub Cadet Mower will pay for itself in 2 years easy and that's just the cost of mowing my back lawn, add in my front lawn and it'll almost pay for itself in a little over a year!😁👍
Thanks for the video. I am about to buy this mower. It looks like it can get in tight around the trees and such. I was undecided about buying the bagger, but I think I should go ahead and get that, too. Oh, and I am also getting the Drainzit Model # STAN 1438 extension and will get rid of that oil drain plug.
Wonderful Chickie, hope you will be as happy with it as I am with mine. I think the extended Oil drain plug is a must and should have come with it. Unfortunately your 1st oil change w/o it will be quite a mess, but you'll be glad you got that out of the way when you put on the extender. Yesterday, I took off the bagger assembly and hung it up on the Garage wall over where I park the mower. I put a big open ended eyehook screw into a stud up high. Then I hung the bagger upside down on the hook by the release latch in the back. Then, to keep it from swaying, I put a 2x4 under the bottom if it. So I got it mounted w/o having to take off the 2 bags from the unit. Finally I put up 1 smaller open ended eyehook up higher on another stud next to it and hung the plastic side chute extender next to it. Now if I decide to mulch cause I came back to tall grass after a vacation, I can easily take it off the wall, mow & bag, then take it off the mower and hang it back up in the wall all w/o having to break a sweat. I'll demonstrate this when I do the next video of changing the oil with the extended drain hose. Let us know how you like it after you have mowed a couple if times. We are excited for you.
@@KCPrible98 I got mine about a month ago and I absolutely love it! And your right u need the extended oil drain plug so u don't make a mess everywhere, I'm glad I found one that came with it and wasn't missing it like a lot of the other ones were!
Hi, I can't tell you precisely the measurements as I do not have them with me at the moment, but I can tell you I can get it between a mailbox pole and the brickwork in the front yard with about 3/4" to spare on both sides. I go pretty slow to thread it through the slot. When I add the rear bagging unit, then it requires another ½" on the right side (side with the chute). I can still squeeze it through the opening, but it is very tight. I should remove 2 stones on that front mound and make it just a pinch smaller diameter all around. Then I can get it through easier. I'm helping my wife with her 95 year old mother so won't have time to do that this year. I have mowed 22 times with it as it will be 1 year old on June 12. May get two more mowings in if the rain holds off. I plans on doing a one year review on the Cub Cadet Official Web Site. What would I change if I were to redesign it? 1) Make the Tailpipe point downwards more toward the ground so I do not burn delicate flowers as I go slow around them. I've had to learn to do the trimming by making right hand turns where my whole life I've made left hand turns - maybe cause I'm left handed. 2) Make the deck a Floating deck or put some wheels under it so it does not scalp the yard. I have not had a scalping issue myself, but my yard has very smooth gentle slopes. Others complain about it, but maybe they have steeper ridges in their yard so they tend to scalp more. 3) Make the front suspension independent from left side to the right side. Currently it is all attached to the frame so the whole unit up front does not pivot and float as larger garden tractors do. I'm used to a floating front wheel axle. We downsized our house/yard and while it is not really an issue, it could be made better. Probably $50 more in cost would get that job done. 4) I would add a better grip on the main floor for my feet. They tend to slide around too easily. Something kind of course like a sandpaper feel would hold your feet better and make you feel more secure. 5) Add a second light on the front - one on each side or make the one they give you brighter and point down at a steeper angle. I don't really mind, I don't mow at night because of the mosquitoes, but I could see people hauling stuff around with a wagon finishing up a project later into the night that would benefit from it. Would these items stop me from buying it again - No. But they are things that the next version could utilize for more customer satisfaction. For me, small size, fit in the garage, easy turning around items counted the most. Hope this is helpful in your decision making. At the price I paid for it plus the $250 bagger, 24 mowings in one year works out to $65/mowing. By this time next year it will be down to $32.50/mowing. If I hired someone to do the yard for me, that would be $40/Mowing. We will be ahead of the game before the next 12 months are up. Blessings - Kitt Prible
Thx John. I hope you like it. To be fair, its weakness lies in the fact that it does not have independent suspension. If you have a yard with a lot of rolling terrain, then one wheel may lift up in the air on you. Why, because all 4 wheels are on the same plane. Picture a piece of plywood with 4 wheels on the corners. If your yard is flat, then no issues, but if suddenly you slope down on the right front corner, your left wheel may come up in the air and spin. While our yard slopes. This has not been a big problem. We had 3 areas I identified where it happens. I bought some bags of soil and put them down which releveled the yard in those areas and problem went away. Otherwise uneven yards could be a bigger problem and then I would look for a unit with independent suspension. You can tell them apart as the front axle is independent of the rear axle.
I have it loaned out so can't get back to you for a couple of months. Sorry. But to be honest, I find it simpler to just mulch ot and ho over some places twice. I get done faster.
Got to be quick because I have to leave in 2 minutes. It works great on the slope. I only have one place that is an issue and that is at the very bottom - lowest spot in the yard. Trying to make the corner, then back up to get all of that spot and finally get it going forward which puts it on an uphill slope. I have to have my foot on the break to keep from going backwards, while at the same time put my foot on the pedal to go forward, so it kind of behaves like popping the clutch. I'm considering putting down a couple of paving stones in that corner and forgot about growing/mowing grass in that area. Otherwise, if you yard is no hillier then mine, it should do just fine.
Hello Sir you had me convinnced as I am preparing for fall season and I have some trees and a narrow drive way with an ample yard. If I may ask is it wise to get the protection plan offered by Lowe's just in case something happens on the machinery and parts? This is truly an investment for me. Thank you for your answer in advance
That's a personal choice. It's an investment for me too, but I took a pass. I'm somewhat mechanical and can do thd easy maintenance. We decided to save the money. Hope you like it.
@@KCPrible98 thank you sir I will definitely learn how to use it honestly enough I am not a mechanical guy and I am just new in yard work and I hope you don't mind if I have questions or I will go back again on your video and or I will leave a message to you here sir thank you very much. And last question if you don't mind? It has been 3 years since the last time you posted I believe, how's your unit going is it still running good and just minor problems you encountered sir?
@@TopherDPT actually I just put it away today for the season. I got 29 mowing this year. I didn't use tge bagger the last 2 years and just mulched instead. My average cost per mow since we have owned it are now $15 per mow which includes all minor repairs, blades and new belts last year. Today tgey charge f25 to mow us so figured we are about $600 better then break even. Next year is all profit. Ask questions if you like. Most of my videos are private and far and few in between.
@@TopherDPT my wife and I never expected to get so many views on this simple video. It's over 99k now and just blows us away. We truly hope you enjoy yours. Blessings, K&C
Yes, it supplies two beneficial elements. First, because it has a mulching blade, it chops up the leaves into pretty fine material (as seen in the video) which allows you to get more leaves into the two baskets. 2nd, it supplies the wind needed to move the mulched leaves up the chute and into the bags. I use it for leaf removal, otherwise I believe that mulched grass clippings are good for the soil and should be returned to the earth. When I do use it to get leaves, I'm also getting grass clippings at the same time. Usually the grass is growing slower when the leaves come down, so I'm getting mostly leaves.
Hi Glen, sorry I don't have an oil change video. I can say the 1st oil change was a mess as I expected. The little half round tray worked terrible. But, I had already ordered a rubber extension drain tube to extend it out further away from the unit. I think that will work like a charm for my 2nd change which won't be for several weeks yet. I'll try to make a video of that when it happens.
I think you will be very happy. I'm sure there are better mowers out there, but for the price, hydraulic motion and easy storage space, it's hard to get more bang for your buck.
Hi Soobieblitzen, It is a 3/8" thread. This is what I bought from Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PDN3HY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hope this is helpful - it made the next oil change a breeze.
9:57 & 10:26 answered my questions, but how even is the 2 bags filled for grass only no leaves? 14:23 nice snow. Must be quiet as in no ear muffs needed you & another youtuber.
Two thumbs up, first great video of the mower in action question how did the bagger work with grass? I’m on the fence if to go gas or electric model. And second cuz your a Rep 👍🏼
thank you Johnny B on both Accounts. i have only bagged leaves so cannot speak for the grass only aspect. i believe in leaving grass clippings behind. i don't have any experiences with the battery unit so cannot really help there. i can only guess it would be much quieter, so if ypu listen to music or news while you mow. that option maybe worth it. from what i saw, i believe the performance would be the same either way. the electric version maybe kind of cool in that aspect.
Wonderful. I have only had one issue. As you can see in the video, we have a side sloping yard. At the lowest point, I have to make a 90° turn, so I back up going uphill and in the spring with really green grass, it creates tire slippage. So I'm in the middle of swapping the tires to an ATV type tire. The back two are ready to go on and do a test drive. If they work out, then I'll do the front two tires too to get a little better bite on the sharp turns 360°. I'll be updating my remarks shortly with my findings.
@@KCPrible98 i am getting a 2010 craftsman with engine in front 17.5 briggs 30inch cut 5 speed i am excited i dont need nothing fancy for mowing yards or to bag the grass
Robert, I did z search on your Craftsman R1500 and found thus bagger. www.mtdparts.com/en_US/baggers-and-mulching-kits/mini-riding-mower-bagger-for-30-inch-decks/19A30014791.html#start=43 So many of these mowers all look the same and the bagger looks like the one I have. I would be about 99% confident this is interchangeable with the CC30H model. Mine cost about $250 4½ years ago. I hang mine on the wall as I only use if for the leaves and the trees are much bigger now.
Hi Mihail, Yes, you can use the machine with the blade turned off. It only engages when you pull the lever on the side to tighten the belt and engage it. I used it all the time with a little wagon we purchased to haul landscaping stones and mulch around the yard. I tend to raise the mower deck (lever next to the mower engage) to full height upwards just to make sure it is not scraping on things. I don't have to, it is just a habit of mine from my youth. Technically I think the manual said you should not mow with it on a slope more than 14 degrees. They give you a little template to take cut out and take it to your yard to measure the slope. Ours is over 14 degrees on one side of the house - the steepest side. My guess is it is about 18 degrees at one spot. I feel like I am leaning a bit to one side when I mow on it, but have not had any issues. I would try to avoid going around a tree as much as possible on that slope as it might bet stuck on slightly damp grass. I trim with a small electric mower on that tree twice around so I do not have to make as sharp a turn as on the other 33 objects in the yard. My wife would probably not like it, but she is not going to mow with it anyway. She did not like to mow with the self propelled when I was laid up with foot surgery either. Just take it easy on the slopes, don't get in a hurry and try to avoid a super sharp turn if possible. Withe the hydraulic foot pedal, you can go very slow and creep along which is very nice and one of the primary reasons I bought it. Also, remember you can mow in reverse with the blade on if you turn the key back halfway after you start it and push the yellow button in front of it. That makes backing up with the blade engaged possible. Your welcome - Kitt
Every good riding mower should have clear paths to cut. Suggest you remove all of those trees and other road blocks. I bet you are retired so may not be a problem for you. I have two trees in the front yard and three trees and a trellis in the back yard. I use a push mower to trim first and then the riding mower for the bulk of my 1/3 acre yard. I am 70 and this works out well. Now if you could just fix my drainage issues. I just bought one of these mowers. Still figuring it out.
Sorry Denise, I missed this somehow. Actually on that video I was doing a regular mowing while sucking up leaves. I could have raised the mower deck which would have sucked basically leaves only. Basically the blade has to be engaged to suck leaves. The lower the deck, the more grass and leaves you get at the same time.
You're missing the fun of it, but glad your husband would get to enjoy it. The oak shells I don't believe would hurt the mower, but they would make a lot of racket getting ground up and possibly cause the blade to get duller more quickly. But that would happen with any mower, even a walk behind. I clicked on your channel and liked what I saw. Keep up the good work.
Denise, the bagger I'm using came directly from Cub Cadet as our local store did not sell them. However, It is not much of a vacuum - leaves yes, Oak tree shells - probably are too heavy and they would not get sucked up into it. Honestly, I would not worry about the nuts. They will just make noise but probably not cause serious issues. When I'm not bagging I have the Mulching Chute on so the clippings get mulched up more than if I left it on the side discharge. On the side discharge, I would recommend youngsters to stay away from it or they could get hit by flying Oak tree nut shells. And Remember: If you don't Salt them - Who will - in reference to your Bio.
Hi Joe,Thanks for liking the videos. I'm overdue for another one. I didn't want to get one too short so I could be sure to get it to drain away from the frame and into a collection container. I ended up getting a 14" rubber hose from Amazon. www.amazon.com - see this link below. I'm not promoting it as the one and only product, but it did the job quite nicely for us. Its called the Drainzit Oil Changing Aid - Model# STAN1438 with a 3/8" Drain Port Size www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PDN3HY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@joeandrews8965 You will like it Joe, also it was wise to order the rubber oil extension tube at the same time. Mine came with oil already in it from our local Farm & Home store. I had to drain the oil the 1st time without the extension tube. What a mess that was. I knew it would be messy, but even so, it was still unpleasant. By the end of our 2nd yr ownership, we will be at break even costs of ownership. Meaning it costs $35 to have our yard cut weekly. 2 years x $35 per mow = Cost of mower + the bagger. Starting the 3rd year, we will be ahead of the game.
Hi! What tool did you use to tighten the drain tube extension to the oil port? I want to do this, but it is a small space and nothing seems to fit. Thanks!
it us manual, so not as easy as power steering. I usually just use one hand while going backwards and on longer straightaways. I usually use two hands going forwards. I have been looking for a steering ball, but cannot find one wide enough for the thickness of the steering wheel. but I'm not looking hard. I am pretty happy with it.
Yes/No. NO breakdowns in all this time. But, I bought new blades to put on and could not get the nut off the blade to remove it. I put it up on some jacks, but my socket wrench with a 15/16th Inch socket would not budge the old nut. I put some WD-40 on it for the night and believe I will need to get a short pipe to put over my wrench to give it an extension so the leverage will help budge it loose. If that fails, then I will have to take it in and have the shop were I bought it take the old nut off. They may give me some grief because I purchased 2 new blades outside of their store but - Oh well. Otherwise, I mowed with the old blades (which are still good looking except for one nick). It worked fine. I'm still a very happy camper. I sat on the electric version of this and it feels the same, but your wallet will be lighter by about $1,000 - That part I did not like and am glad I got the gas powered unit. It is not under powered. Wheel slippage is my biggest issue when making a tight turn around a tree while going uphill. The flatter the yard, the more you will like this unit. Hope you make a good decision.
@@KCPrible98 I bought the Troybilt version a year ago and you are right about the traction. It is because of the Turf-Saver tires. I have a hilly yard and it's no problem other than that. I had a far more expensive mower that was about the same or even worse with the traction. I'm hoping the snow blower tires I ordered will help and I think they will.
@@worddunlap Wow, I would love to get your opinion on the snowblower tires when you get them in and try them on. That sounds like a great idea. If you like them, please let me know the kind so I can shop around for them. Appreciate it. I just had to replace 4 tires on a 4 years old Gorilla cart. They were kind of pricey so I bought a new cart instead. But next year I will most like be looking at new tires as they too will be 4 years old by then.
@@KCPrible98 Mounted and used for the first time today. My opinion is that the tires make it like a different mower. Not only did I not get stuck when a tire did spin it made no difference. I never had to stop, get off. push or even go into reverse. It also did not mark up the lawn as bad as the 'Turf Savers'. The only those Turf Savers save is the manufacturers costs...If this failed I was going to have to get a different mower. I am pleased. It also stops better downhill. it was scary with the Turf Saver tires. CARSLILE X-Trac same size as factory tires on back. I got a different style for the front but did not mount those yet.
@@worddunlap this is great news, especially about not tearing up the yard in the process. Please keep us informed about your front tires if you change them out. Would you be willing to paste in a link where you got these tires? It would save on some researching. The feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Glad you bought one Linda. After 1 year I still love it. Kind of busy right now, so the best way to get my feelings on it are to read all the questions and answers I've supplied over the last year. Let us know how you like yours.
Linda, how do you like your mower now that you have owned it for a couple of weeks. Do you feel you made the right decision? Hope it is working out for you. Blessings - Kitt
Sorry Steve, No, I have not used the bagger just for the grass only. I'm a firm believer in letting the grass return to the earth. If we had a year like last year where the weather was cool and wet in the spring and then overnight the heat went, the rain stopped and and the last batch of grass did not properly decompose, then I would consider using the bagger. I have it hanging on the wall over the mower and only takes 5 minutes to put it on, but did not feel it called for it this year. Instead, there were a couple of rounds on the yard where not all the clippings were 100% mulched, so I just went over that row (kind of straddled) and cut the clippings a second time. That got it just fine. It's a rider, takes no time at all to do a row over again if needed.
@@stephaniehenry9264 Hi Stephanie, Sorry for the delay, but I looked up the website and price of the Lawnbagger from the official website. We still like it. Wished it had a floating head, But to get nicer features such as twin blades, then it would not fit in our 2 car garage. Storage space was our primary focus, We think we got the best product on the market to fit in the garage and have simple foot controlled hydraulic shifting. We have a lot of trees and shrubs to mow around in the yard and no shifting was another primary reason to purchase it. If we had more money, we would have a bigger house, bigger yard, bigger garage and zero turn mower, but then we would have to maintain all that stuff. We downsized into this house. We think we are quite satisfied where we are at with this purchase. Your wallet will be pleased too. It's almost 11 months old now. Have mowed the yard 20 times with it already. We still do not like to do the hand trimming, but do enjoy riding it to finish off the yard. The neighbors are envious.
@@KCPrible98 Thank you for your detailed update. I did not think about it not having a floating deck which considering it's price point sucks. Today I did buy a Cub Cadet though, but not this one. I ended up getting the XT1. I actually got it for $1439 with free delivery and interest free on my Depot card for 2 years. I am hoping that in the future Cub Cadet will release an update to the one you have, with a floating deck, Cruise Control, twin blade and hopefully.
@@10p6 thx, if I had the room in the garage and not so many trees and bushes to mow around, that would have been a consideration. Write back to me in a year please and let me know how it works out for you. I doubt the will change my little cadet in the future. I think you would have to get to 32" for twin blades. But adding a floating deck and floating front axle would help it. It's all about fitting in the garage and tight turns for us. Homeowners Assoc will not allow sheds just yet. Maybe by the time we retired this mower, things will have changed.
@@KCPrible98 Hi again. I'll let you know next year (I set a reminder on Alexa :-) )how my tractor worked out, and look to see if any improvements were made with compact ride on lawn mowers. Until then :-)
@@10p6 I actually sold my XT1 to purchase this mower after owning it for almost 2 years. My landscaping has changed considerably since I first purchased the XT1 and I always felt my yard was in between a walker and rider. So far I really love this CC 30. I thought it was well priced compared to others that offered hydro shift in a small size. As I've stated before, I have 34 things to mow around my yard. On only 2 laps do I get to open up the speed and even then I'm only about 3/4 of the way down on the accelerator. Every yard is different, every person I'd different. All I can say is it fits my needs and gets the job done quite nicely & fit in a 2 car garage with 2 cars.
Thank you sir for this video. It has been the most helpful video of all the videos I've watched on this mower. :D
Sorry.
Thank you! Very helpful
Our Blessings to you.
you sold me..i bought one of these cub cadets beginning of summer...going to order a bagger now...
@@KCPrible98 I will definitely enjoy my coke lol and yeah I figured that my Cub Cadet Mower will pay for itself in 2 years easy and that's just the cost of mowing my back lawn, add in my front lawn and it'll almost pay for itself in a little over a year!😁👍
Good for you! just love it!
Thank you for this video! Looking at getting one and wondering how close to brickwork it will get. This was perfect. Thanks!
@@KCPrible98 your video already was my final vote. Ordered it about an hour ago. Thank you again for putting this on the Internet and happy mowing!
Coolest Kat in the neighborhood. Lol
Kindly do an update video. Thanks
Nice mower, nice video!
Can you run over a piece of chain link fence so we can see how durable it is.?
Beautiful yard
I was just loking back at some comments and noticed your name. Yes, Thank God we are Saved, we are So Saved because He Loves us.
Is there anyway you can measure the mower with the bagging system. It's roughly 67 inches without it .
I would really appreciate it
I have it loaned out so can't get back to you for a couple of months. Sorry.
But to be honest, I find it simpler to just mulch ot and ho over some places twice. I get done faster.
How does it handle the slope in the side of your house?
We decided to save the money.

nice tool. Hydrostatic drive is a pleasure to ride with.So it misses a beeper when it is full.
Sorry, no beeper when bag is full.
Nice touch if it did.
Did you have the blade engaged when you did the leave pickup?
I have the same mower. I'm going to buy that bagger.
I just need an oil change video and I'm all set!
I'm thinking about getting one of these machines
I think you will be very happy. I'm sure there are better mowers out there, but for the price, hydraulic motion and easy storage space, it's hard to get more bang for your buck.

I can't honestly say as I let the clippings fall back to the earth as compost. I only use it for leaves and they come out even.
I don't use it for grass. Only leaves. I like to let grass clippings return to God's Green Earth.
K&C Prible nice little machine thats what i am getting and i mow small lawns in a neighborhood how is the machine holding up now???
If you have flat yards, this is not an issue and the OEM tires would be just fine.

So many of these mowers all look the same and the bagger looks like the one I have. I would be about 99% confident this is interchangeable with the CC30H model. Mine cost about $250 4½ years ago.
I hang mine on the wall as I only use if for the leaves and the trees are much bigger now.
2 questions- can you ride it back/forth without the blade being engaged? - how big of a slope you have mine is about 10-15 degrees. Thanks!
Hi Mihail,
Yes, you can use the machine with the blade turned off.
Kitt - thank you for answering my questions!! Helps a lot!
So you're just sucking the leaves up without the blade down right?
Sorry Denise, I missed this somehow. Actually on that video I was doing a regular mowing while sucking up leaves. I could have raised the mower deck which would have sucked basically leaves only.
Basically the blade has to be engaged to suck leaves. The lower the deck, the more grass and leaves you get at the same time.
@@KCPrible98 I don't drive it my husband does. We have leaves and oak tree shells in our back yard. Will the shells hurt the machine?
You're missing the fun of it, but glad your husband would get to enjoy it. The oak shells I don't believe would hurt the mower, but they would make a lot of racket getting ground up and possibly cause the blade to get duller more quickly. But that would happen with any mower, even a walk behind.
I clicked on your channel and liked what I saw. Keep up the good work.
@@KCPrible98 I will try my best to rack up the shells maybe I had look into getting a vacuum.
Love your videos on the CC30H one question what size rubber extension drain tube does it take? I see they range from 10mm to 20mm.
Thanks!
is the steering hard?
or is it very easy
it us manual, so not as easy as power steering. I usually just use one hand while going backwards and on longer straightaways. I usually use two hands going forwards. I have been looking for a steering ball, but cannot find one wide enough for the thickness of the steering wheel. but I'm not looking hard. I am pretty happy with it.
Thanks!
It's 2 to 3 years now. Have there been any breakdowns or problems with the mower?
The only those Turf Savers save is the manufacturers costs...If this failed I was going to have to get a different mower. I am pleased. have you use the bag for grass and how did it work
Sorry Steve, No, I have not used the bagger just for the grass only.

Cool
Hi. What do you think of your little Cadet 6 months later? Do you still like it, or wish you got a larger machine?
I have just under 1/2 acre and the CC 30 is just about perfect for my yard space and it works out great in the garage. I'm sure you will love your XT1.
If you mound dirt up around your tree trunks, the roots will girdle.
I think you maybe right. I planted things high so the roots would not rot in wet clay soil.
It’s kind of expensive and only goes 4mph
I thought it was well priced compared to others that offered hydro shift in a small size. As I've stated before, I have 34 things to mow around my yard. On only 2 laps do I get to open up the speed and even then I'm only about 3/4 of the way down on the accelerator. Every yard is different, every person I'd different. All I can say is it fits my needs and gets the job done quite nicely & fit in a 2 car garage with 2 cars.
Kitt-Cindy Prible it is a good size but I thought $1700 was kinda high, of course that is approx msrp. I am glad it works for you!
Thanks Norman. I think we paid $1,495 for the mower (off $200 sale price) and then had to order the bagger from Cuba Cadet separately for $250.
i would have mulched the leaves first,,,then sucked them up
That's what I do now, this was 3 years ago. Its a learning process.
Mmm
