@Nancy Pelosi thats good to know you aren't passing any new laws. .. you could subscribe to my channel, i work on some junk now & then because us little people are poor and have to fix what we have.
Armando Gonzalez fact is GMs rwd v8 has been years ahead of Ford and dodge from the early 2000s until the current generation of trucks. It’s unfortunate that they have allowed them selves to slip in the current generation. This spoken from a ford fan who isn’t blinded by fandom. Fords were the worst from 1996 to about 2014. They finally got their shit together. Dodge wasn’t much better. And they are still plagued with issues. (All opinions based on the rwd work force and performance products). All the American brands sucked at fwd sedans until recently.
Man I love it when you guys build these rangers this is gonna be such a sweet truck I would love to see you do a really awesome off-road ranger with front and rear lockers
That IRS is giving me flashback nightmares! I had to reseal the leaking diff b/c of wheel hop on my 03.. it’s a 30min job on a SRA mustang on a cobra it’s a total pain in the ass, took me all weekend with 2 jack stands an 1 floor jack dropping the whole pumpkin & breaking half the suspension lose
The front suspension are decent. Once they are lowered and a Explorer front swaybar which is double in thickness and narrower then the stock one and will attach to the original locations.
Can you guys build a Ford 300 with a turbocharger there's very few turbo 300 around and they mop the floor with everything in torque deperatment, my 88 f250 4.9L straight 6 is pushing 670 lbs of torque below 2200rpm, V8s wish they had that power that low and still get 17 highway
@@jayyoutube8790 I have 2 of them, an 85 and 88 both still running today, my channel has a video of mine I put the log manifold on and sounds like a Cummins or semi
@@jayyoutube8790 I'm pretty sure you want to see a hopped up turbo ford 300 4.9, my buddy has one and it has 2.74 gears something like that and a zf5 and he smokes the 5.0 mustangs all day
@2m50s: Note the use of an HDMI cable. Clever, if a bit funny. Could have been designed to use an interface with fewer wires (four is plenty) and a thinner cable.
Skip to minute marker 11:00 where they actually begin talking about the subject of this TH-cam's title Edit: Did I miss something? If you blink at 16:09, the episode goes from a Chassis on jack stands with the host talking about their plans; to just a few seconds later and the truck is completely done. So this TH-cam vid is pretty much worthless, unless your interested in the first 11 minutes on how to tune your trucks ECM for towing.
My turbo 2.3 Dohc ranger has a turbo and makes 340 HP and 411 lbs torque with 17 psi boost, at 7800 rpm, and gets 33 highway when cruising that motor has best of both worlds performance and econemy but not for tuning
Man, I love the “street truck” look. I wanna see more new trucks done up like this
Gas tank behind the rear axle in a ford..... yea that’s worked out great in the past.
Exactly my thoughts😂
11 minutes of that 18 minute episode was a bully dog commercial.
I just ordered my DVD copy of this episode for just $5.95 plus shipping and handling! Can't wait for it to arrive in 6-8 weeks!
Can I borrow it via usps shipping which will take another 2 weeks
@@bigmarkdarula Might be a little longer than that. It would have to go through Canada Post first. Maybe best to just order your own copy.
Even though it’s free on the internet?
TH-camisbroken 😂🤣
3:10 gm's are the most reliable being towed
ThaKronDon he was just stating a fact GM fan girl
@Nancy Pelosi i never thought some big shot like you would ever comment on one of my comments 😂
@Nancy Pelosi thats good to know you aren't passing any new laws. .. you could subscribe to my channel, i work on some junk now & then because us little people are poor and have to fix what we have.
Camaros and Corvettes have always been pretty reliable. GM knows how to make good muscle/sports cars.

Might as well blast, prime and paint the frame while its bare.
Yeah, confusing....at least wire brush and rattlecan it...

Ford oem electronics are great for towing!

tbone3366
The ford 300 is damn near bulletproof.
tbone3366 Can you send me a video of that torque number on the dyno? I would love to see it
It is my personal belief that Trucks go up and cars go down.
I think your trucks are underrated, a Mazda like Rolling Thunder is rated way more than half a ton unbraked with the standard motor here
My neighbor has a 2001 f150 with a 5.4 with 423,8443 miles
Need to do this with a 4wd ranger!!
The Ford 300 is fords most reliable engine no exceptions
The inline 6 4.9L? I had one of those, it was bullet proof.

tbone3366 I had an 85 F250 with the 300, that freakin thing would take whatever my stupid teenage self threw at it and keep going
you should try the banks Derringer tuner and Idash data moonster. if i was going to tow regularly id get a diesel.
Oh wow they’re referring to the Camaro as new. I didn’t kno these were old vids
It's nice to see an affordable build us avenger Joe's can do over a few weekends
lol
Today on trucks, Chevy Camaro 😂....🥺
thanks, ballast!
I want to lower my b2500 so I can drift how would I do it at a cheap/affordable price?

Those irs can be found 400 but usually closer to thousand for someone elses wear n tear
A better gauge of power increase for the truck & trailer passing test would be the terminal MPH than the ET.
Looks like a mazda
🔥🔥
You guys got a car 4 sale board?
So, forget tuning, & invite your bigger friends to ride with.- Noted
Ford 150 looks better with a mustang GT in the trailer not a Camaro.
Anyone know what kinda wheels those are on the Ford ranger?
This show is still helpful, and enjoyable to watch, but it's just not the same without Stacey David.
Awesome
Talk about episode recycling from 2010
All new to me...
@@mattthompson9261 one of my favorite programs from the power block shows that were air on Saturdays
10 years later, how did that 5.4 work out?
Everything works out fine when properly maintained.
Nowadays the engine is working just fine, as a boat anchor
the link for the tuner just sends me straight to the power nation website not bullydogs website

All they did was drop the body on the frame and stick a set of wheels where they are gonna go. All they did was cut out 20 minutes or so of work.
Its not a youtube vid this was an actual tv show they are just re airing them on youtube its from ten years ago
Nice way to break in a new truck from the dealer that will get sold to a sap aka typical truck buyer (I know this is old)
.....so as fast as a stock 2004 STi
Trucks.
3/4 of a second for how much money
Was that another GM commercial?
More than half of the show was a commercial. No thanks.
Lol, there wasn't a single thing done to the Ranger except a tear down.
Front wheel well looks... well, stupid. Some people's junk is art for others.
Less talky. More worky . Surprised you guys get anything done.
2:30 The programmer works for 8 different manufacturers including some imports. Interesting that there are 8 domestic manufacturers!?!
@@Stackali ... Yeah. The wording was odd, kind of separating imports while including them. No big deal. I think this program aired a decade ago.
Just like real life. The truck isn't set up for the tow.
13.1 Q.M. is slow slow slow
A lot has changed in 10 years which is when this aired originally.
MI ABUELITA CORRE MAS RAPIDO QUE ESE CAMARO.
I never notice half the shit you tell us
Those wheels look horrible. Not enough aspect ratio and too much space on the interior of the wheel for such an old body style.
First
Why slam a Ranger? It's useless as a truck now..
Where these guys are taking this truck,it wont be used as a truck any more.
Brian maynard it’s a ranger... was it even really useful before slamming it? That’s the real question...
No budget build here

You can lower it put the most amazing wheels on it and it's still an ugly ford ranger. WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY.
Springwood Slasher Says the guy who can’t even use the correct version of “waste”? The Ranger is a good looking truck, get over it!
Ya whats the "waste" size of your pants dumb dumb
