Another great video with loads of good advice. If there is one think I’ll say to my kids is “start investing as soon as you can”. Compounding is incredibly powerful. Start early - don’t touch it - watch it grow and enjoy retirement. I’ve followed advice from here and now invest every month. I’m 54 now but wish I’d started years ago. But with a 30 year 75/15 pot and leaving as an OF3 I’ll be ok but just. Invest early
100% educating the kids is the best thing for them. I plan to do a video later this year on how to help teach children the basics of personal finance. Give them the start many of us never had.
Joined the RAf at 45. Great informative video! I started investing in the Vanguard Lifestrategy 100 ISA because of your videos. Keep up the great work!
Three reasons why to invest. The Army doesn't pay enough. It has cut the pensions twice in a 10y period. We are over worked, under paid and unappreciated.
Do you still use vanguard or Etorro? Im new to the whole thing and can't decide which of the platforms are best or if it even makes a difference. I have also looked at trading 212 a bit but haven't decided on one yet. I want to buy into the S&P500 like you suggested but just unsure of how to actually get going with it. Fantastic video as always mate
I use Vanguard and Etoro still. A little bit of Trading212. I plan on doing videos on these platforms later in the year but before rushing in best bet is to have a Google and watch some videos on these platforms to see which best suits your needs.
30 years in May since I left the service, and 3 years till I collect my military pension. It is not projected to be particularly big, but will provide 25% of my needs. My only regret is not starting a private pension on leaving. It cannot be emphasized enough how time is your greatest asset.
I can't really answer that for you as it's a very personal choice. You'll need to weigh up the pros and cons and have a solid action plan before making any decision to do it or not to.

Educate in yourself in property investment. That's the best investment.

It really is our greatest asset and often people learn this too late.
Hey mate is it worth commuting my pension to take bigger lump sum to set up BTL property company?

When will you get your next promotion. Well overdue I believe😂
