Really looking forward to see and hear more from you , Your Music IS Blessed Honey to the Soul...your are a wonderful Wonder...
Hello Mr. Keenlyside, I really enjoy Your piano videos and I wonder if you could play "cantaloupe rag" by Aiden Kim Ragtime. It is a very joyful song and I wonder if you can give it a shot. If you cannot play by ear, I can give you the sheet music.
Nice job with that one! it sounds really nice, I love how bright it is, sounds a bit like your Heintzman from 1903! I'd love to see you build a full size upright that sounds like that though :D
Thank you! And a great observation - this is strung with steel harpsichord wire! I restrung a harpsichord & had wire leftover that was starting to rust. That inspired using only recycled materials. The top string of most modern pianos is about #13 gauge - this toy is strung with (the harpsichord equivalent of) #11.
@@maxkeenlyside Oh that's really interesting! I had never thought that the strings themselves made such a big difference in the sound. Pretty neat you made this only from recycled materials!
It really reminds me of the beautiful and delicate tone of an old fortepiano ,you've made an instrument with a very unique tone there, as a composer I'd be lying if I said I wasn't drooling over this thing 😂
Hi Max. Just wondering if you’ve done anything with that Wornum upright? I’m still interested in it if you decide you’re not gonna get to it. It may just fit in my new car :-}

that is so slick Max! well done
It's insane that this is a piano you built yourself, that's incredible!
Hello Max,
I really enjoy your videos, especially the piano repair and tuning videos. Hopefully there will be more in the future!
Congratulations on your degree, Max! Looking forward to more wonderful content… just like this!
Awesome work Max!
Ill die listening to the Mr Dressup theme and it'll still be one of the best TV show themes in my mind.
I love this! Just the pick-me-up I needed today. ❤
So Sick!
Oh, it's beautiful! Very nice melody and very nice piano!
Fantastic music 🎹🎶

If it has strings, it isn't a toy piano, it's a real one.
Ooh such a cute toy piano! It sounds a bit like a harpsichord in my opinion, but it works really well with this theme!

That's a toy piano? It's small but I would just call that a mini piano. Sounds nice, by the way.
