@pb25193 from what they told me it’s all the same just more features, I was at Toyota Wednesday with the new Crown Signia and was wanting to review that with the new suv but none of them on the lot yet.
When I see significant build quality issues for the Camry in places like Consumer Reports, that starts to matter. Toyota has managed to produce fine quality in their American factories. $20K invested for the life of a well built Toyota is a LOT of money vs. that detail. If it were a Toyota vs. a GM, then I'd completely get your concern.
These days, $30K is a reasonable price for a high quality, reasonably featured sedan like the Camry. To me, $50K for not much more re actual functionality is just insane.
No I didn’t. Because features are the only major difference and the sport tuned suspension isn’t a huge change in the drive. The comparison shows everything. These are both middle trims. Can’t please everyone 🤷♂️
So Crown at lowest price point is still more expensive than Camry's highest trim and has similar HP but just a more luxurious feel and maybe more tech? Hard to justify paying that extra $4-5k if they both drive the same.
Of course I would love the Crown 👑 but I have to pay more. The Crown is between a Lexus and Toyota in terms of materials, quality and amenities, features etc. Crown belongs to Premium class similar to the Toyota Cressida in the 80s. Camry will always be a Camry, the best midsize family sedan for the last 41 years.
@@timvibes the 5th gen Camry's hybrid is retuned for better performance, reduced noise, vibration, quicker throttle response, It’s lighter and more compact. Not too many changes 😁
My 2020 Avalon hybrid has 16.1 cu. ft. In trunk. I think a little more leg room in the back seats. Toyota could have just raised the ground clearance 3” in the Avalon to make entry easier.
The crown has a well balanced aero body design with impressive engine power especially on the xse the other vehicle the Camry just looks low down & cheap so you pay for what you want expensive quality or ordinary & cheaper type car. Also I recently saw that you get rear steering on the latest top crown platinum.
Great review Anthony. I know it's looks are a bit controversial but I do like the Crown..but not for almost 60K lol! I like the Signia even more and look forward to your review of that one. It got up to 117 here that today which is just insane. I was lucky and got to stay in my casa and soak up the AC. There are some wildfires but none too close to me. I did get a couple of calls telling me to evacuate but it turns out they were for my last house. Of course it was enough to get my adrenaline pumped up a bit! I forgot to ask you how is the remodel coming along? Hopefully it's done or will be soon. Hopefully it was not too hot on your side and that you are doing well. Happy Thursday Anthony
The pricing is high but the Crown has a lot of luxury. I would still go Camry James, great value and mpg. That is hot, I was going to ask if you lived near the wildfires, glade you are alway from them and staying inside. Sadly the heat is almost the same as a cold heavy rainy day, can’t do much outside. The work has had some hard twist, the kitchen needs more work so we are demo and working that out with the last bathroom hopefully starting tomorrow. Everything is still in my garage 🤷♂️. The Crown Signia will be coming in a couple days, finishing up the edits and today we got the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid! I’m hoping to have them both up in a few days. Happy Friday Eve James
@@HawkeyeRides I’ve driven the Crown and the ride is nice with very little noise. I’d get a Camry LE for driving around the area and short trips, and keep my Avalon hybrid for road trips.
@@TripleBerg my brother had that Mercedes he was always telling me how it’s so much better than my cars lol. He would go nuts if he had to use the truck or back seat but the funny part is, who is he keeping it so nice for when he traded every 2-3 years 😂

Great job rattling off statistics! More information in this review than others I have watched. Thanks.

Just ordered my underground SE AWD Camry yesterday…can’t wait till it comes in
Congratulations and that color is awesome
Nice to see drivers in Tampa Bay don't stop at Red lights.
It's everywhere but at least no one was behind me, I checked before stopping.
Great video!!
Thank you I appreciate that
If the new Camry gets a TRD trim with hybrid max then I prefer the look of the Camry.
That would be awesome but nothing yet
The next year crown will probably get the Camry look, because the crown signia already has that look. Cheers.
@pb25193 just did the crown Signia (coming in a couple days) no changes to the crown sedan other then what I stated in this video ✌️
@@HawkeyeRides I know, I am speculating about 2026 crown sedan to have headlights similar to 2025 crown signia

The Crown is faster but not much difference
Especially if you care about NONE of the higher level of trim except, perhaps to get a moon roof. It's great as a consumer to have good choices.
