7:59 Wolf Totem is part of a 12th century “poem” written by one of Chinggis Khaan’s (we know him as Ghengis Khaan) sons that the HU put to music, the Warrior on the horse = 12th century Mongol Warrior, the guys on motorcycles = Modern Day Mongol Warriors on “Steel” horses. I couldn’t tell if you had closed captions turned on or not, but if not, rewatch the video with them on for the lyrics in English (or whatever your native language is).
I love how most of their official music videos are like mini movies. English caption are available, then you can "hear" as you read the story behind the song. Truly amazing. You see these coming, be afraid, be very afraid. :D
Oooer what have done again? The Hu is pronounced Hooo! They’re badass, but very interesting, love the Mongolian throat singing and the traditional instruments! Good follow up Lzzy Hale & the Hu song of woman, it’s really cool! I guess you like them then? Coolio 😂 🌹
Hey Roni! You need to check out Unleash the Archers!! The song is called Awakening. Masterful guitarists and a powerhouse vocalist!! If you liked Nightwish, you'll like this!
I love the fact that you like this 😁 Did you know they collaborate with american rockers? They have a version of this song with the lead singer of Papa Roach, and several others. Just search for "the HU feat" :)
The band say they didn't choose their name as a play on the Who's, but because “hu” is the root word for human being in Mongolian. “We took the name because of the inclusive nature,” Temka said. “It's not about being Mongolian. It's about being human.” At the same time, Mongolian themes dominate the band's lyrics.@@ronireacts_to_all
Also, Disturbed just released a video for their song Don't Tell Me with the amazing Ann Wilson yesterday, and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it ♥
I saw the Hu live as headliners in Fort Wayne In with my wife as I introduced them to her, I first heard "Wolf Totem on radio with Jacoby Shaddox lead singer of Papa Roach singing english lead with them. They are so cool and rock live
Thanks for doing this one I like the Hu my favorite is song of a woman with izzy hale from halestorm I really like all of your content glad you got this one up.
@@ronireacts_to_all you might also check Tengger Cavalry's catalogue. I think they've ceased recording now, but some of their stuff is epic. I'm particularly fond of "War Horse."
Just watched again. Reading books? Deborah Harkness' fifth volume in her world of All Souls: "Black Bird Oracle". Appropriate for the season, too. Highly recommend the series.
They would call someone to "help" you if you'd go to local Walmart and ask "screwdriver that buzzes and blink lights when I use on something it - remote..." LOL!@@ronireacts_to_all
They say French is the language of love although I'm not a fan. Italian and Portuguese are beautiful languages. It's hard to describe this as an attractive language but there's something about it that just draws you in. This would totally be a great sound track for a movie just before some badass'ery. I've heard songs with seagulls in them...Ren's got one or two. Heard songs with a wolf howl as well. Can't say as I've heard one with a horse before. If you're liking the Mongolian theme (I'm kind of liking it), here's a couple more to check out that includes more women... OTYKEN - BELIEF Ummet Ozcan X Otyken Altay "Be a voice, not an echo." - Unknown
If this doesn't get your heart pumping, you might want to have a friend look in on you to make sure you're not dead.
Haha right??
@@ronireacts_to_all Women walk away from watching this pregnant

It is pronounced ¡Hooo! and it means human being /people / nation. The song is based on an ancient poem used as a war call.

Influenced by the British rock band 'The Who', so a clever little play on words. This may give a hint on pronunciation.
I thought so, but I wasn't sure... Thank you!

Thank you Willey! And yes I enjoyed "Song of Women" as well!
The gut-deep subvocalized growl mid-song never fails to raise my hackles. As a sound embodying raw aggression, perhaps only a Maori Hakka compares.
Ohhhh! Yes! A Hakka! Perfectly put sir! Thank you!

How about Dr Who...? Good workout song, I guess.
You're only a real doctor if you have a screwdriver though, right? (I still need to watch Dr. Who...)
