      @ekina7117 No problem, I'm glad that my experience are proving valuable to others that come after me! Are you planning to apply/currently applying to quant roles? Whereabouts are you based in the world?

      @@myquantitative I am currently not applying, but since I am finishing my bachelors in a year, I’m starting to think of which career would be interesting to pursue. Your excel document made it a lot easier to find these type of jobs and to be able to see what kind of qualifications and requirements they are looking for. I currently live in Frankfurt am Main. Do you stay in London? And if I can ask, did you have any personal projects on your portfolio to stand out during the application process?

      Great to hear that my document has been helpful! Remember to fill it up as you begin your own applications.
      I used to live in London but I am currently based somewhere in Western Europe :)
      I did not have any personal projects.
      My C.V. is split into 3 sections in decreasing order of importance;
      - relevant work experience,
      - STEM degree from a target university + research experience via my thesis,
      - extra-curricular experience that demonstrated an interest in the financial markets.
      Regarding projects, unlike SWE, the concept of personal portfolio projects does not seem to be popular within the quant application process. The quant industry places a high value on academic and research prowess so the best builders of a resume have always been a strong STEM programme from a reputable university coupled with research experience involving statistical modelling, ideally within the context of the financial markets. Work experience in tangential roles such as a data scientist/ researcher/SWE are also valid.
      I've yet to hear of a personal projects for a quant resume .That being said, if anyone reading this has an example of a personal quant project adding value to a C.V (and it also being rather accessible to your average aspiring quant), me and everyone else would love to hear about it!
