    What a great video that’s exactly what I need. I live in Long Island and I have that exact burner head you made it all seem so easy my man question I replace my fire O-Matic oil valve and it seems like it just doesn’t want to fit the or the oil burner tube seems like it never gets tight and the little tube can move back-and-forth going to the boiler. Please help I’m trying to search for the right fitting I was assuming it was quarter inch help.

    I changes jet on my burner and cleaned filters. Now it burns continously and doesn't go on and off for a minute as it should. What's causing that. Could it be the photocell or control box ?

      Sometimes it is carboned up between the blast tube and the turbulator plate, particularly if the burner has been running rich and sooty.

    So many wrong things in this Video do not watch this video from the way the nozzle was removed to fireomatic valve was put back on

    • @louietheboilerman
      @louietheboilerman  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      LoL, please explain how you remove the nozzle because I’ve been doing this for over 20 yrs and in business we have no problems. There is absolutely nothing wrong, what is wrong is guys like yourself that think you know it all or act you like there is something wrong. I don’t put people down and there is no exact way to do things like when guys says I’ll never use a pair channel locks on brass fitting.. guess what we all do it. I have or when I don’t have an adjustable wrench. I recommend using a adjustable for certain jobs but sometimes you need to do what you have to do and using a channel locks pliers doesn’t mean it’s wrong… but thank you 🙏 for watching…

      @@louietheboilermansorry bud, I’ve got to agree with the other guy. This hurt to watch and was not professional in my opinion. Also doesn’t address pressure/vacuum/combustion analysis all the important things we need to do during a tuneup to make sure things are burn safely and efficiently.
      The worst part is ur guy was wearing rubber dipped cotton gloves which I couldn’t believe, but then he took them off! You guys need to be wearing nitrile gloves, especially if you around oil a lot. Fuck getting cancer to get a burner running. We deal with a lot of hazardous chemicals every day and we need to protect ourselves when we can. proper gloves (nitrile rubber$ are about the easiest and cheapest thing we can do.
      Other than that I don’t think it would hurt to do some reillo training and for the love of god don’t let you guy spill oil everywhere. From the nozzle to blowing out the line every time u touched on he oil u made a mess.

    • @johnmccaffrey8922
      @johnmccaffrey8922 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Also, there’s a Phillips head set screw on the side of the drawer assembly. Loosen that one screw and the nozzle body will slide out of the retention head instead of removing those other three screws and having to fumble around with trying to get it back together.
