- She will return with a vengeance. Furiosa : A Mad Max Saga - Only in theaters May 24.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth star in Academy Award-winning mastermind George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” the much-anticipated return to the iconic dystopian world he created more than 30 years ago with the seminal “Mad Max” films. Miller now turns the page again with an all-new original, standalone action adventure that will reveal the origins of the powerhouse character from the multiple Oscar-winning global smash “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The new feature from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures is produced by Miller and his longtime partner, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Babe”), under their Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
Taylor-Joy stars in the title role, and along with Hemsworth, the film also stars Alyla Browne and Tom Burke.
Miller penned the script with “Mad Max: Fury Road” co-writer Nico Lathouris. Miller’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes first assistant director PJ Voeten and second unit director and stunt coordinator Guy Norris, director of photography Simon Duggan (“Hacksaw Ridge,” “The Great Gatsby”), composer Tom Holkenborg, sound designer Robert Mackenzie, editor Eliot Knapman, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson and colorist Eric Whipp. The team also includes other longtime collaborators: production designer Colin Gibson, editor Margaret Sixel, sound mixer Ben Osmo, costume designer Jenny Beavan and makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt, each of whom won an Oscar for their work on “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
Warner Bros. Pictures Presents, in Association with Village Roadshow Pictures, A Kennedy Miller Mitchell Production, A George Miller Film, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, in theaters only nationwide on May 24, 2024 and internationally beginning on 22 May, 2024. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

Why is a man centred movie being highjacked by a woman and using his name as a selling point
@@Dante-vf4sd watch the movie 1st.. before you cast judgement. Movie was great.. it isn't primarily all about furiosa.
@@frostymourne867 Not a chance, feminism has taken over hollywierd and I'm not supporting it. This franchise is about Mad Max, and they've removed him and put a female as the lead, the clues in the title along with ripping off his name to try and boost it's, the ultimate insult. Same with so many movies and series these days, female centred on purpose. They even did it in fury road making her the lead and him a sidekick with no personality, not like the originals.
Bro same just watched this trailer after seeing it last night and it literally tells you the movie chronologically.

Hemsworth: How much Australian do you want this guy to be?
Miller: YES!
Please think a moment. It is about the Boss Lady, and everyone is talking about Hemsworth. What do you need more to know about woke Hollywood?
No
@@Shadowwalker1717My family and I loved the movie. Probably the least "woke" thing I've seen in a long time.
@@Shadowwalker1717 Please stop embarrassing yourself by announcing your ignorance. Furiosa (the character) isn't Rey and female protagonist doesn't automatically mean woke. Even Furiousa (the movie) being a Hollywood product is debatable, since it's produced, written, directed, designed and edited by Australians. Everything aside, the trailer shows this isn't a woke movie: She has a male love interest, she openly seeks help from males (note the plural form). She just isn't a damsel in distress. If you think that makes it woke, that's a you problem.

Why was this much better than the first trailer.
"I want them BACK!" is what makes me keep watching it
I just watched them both and think the first trailer was better. You could actually tell what was happening, and they didn't push the false narrative (as much) that Furiosa was just trying to get home the whole time. The movie was really more about the 3 fortresses and the warlords and her story weaves through it...
This movie was amazing *chef kiss*
Hemsworth as the "Villian" and mentally unstable/deranged is going to be awesome. The little bits in the previews is gold already.
Charismatic, but insane is how he came across to me - I mean, who knows how long he was holding that massive horde together, through sheer willpower, but then- oo - sorry, no spoilers....
Mad Max fury road 🛣️
"where you were going so full of hope? THERE IS NO HOPE!" As a resume of his character
he also plays a great villain in the film Bad Times at the El Royal, so honestly i'm kind of (cautiously) optimistic about this one!
Maybe our world went off but I did not find anything mad about his character - he seemed pretty normal to me
"Where are you going?? So FULL of hope? THERE IS NO HOPE!" Might be the mad max-iest line I've heard in any of the films and the delivery was spot on.
Definitely a wasteland line. Might also be a side-long reference to Glory the Child’s mother, who is named Hope in some of the lore.
Definitely up there with “Oh what a day, what a lovely day”

I was thinking the same even though I just bought a brand spankin new 85" TV.
A cinematic masterpiece that has left me speechless!
The time and patience one has to dedicate their life, in making a lifetime work, coupled with an unquenchable thirst to provide sheer awe and cinematic brilliance technically and emotionally, stands out at every single minute throughout the movie.
Apocalyptic genres are quite easy to enact, since they require an astute understanding of how humans operate on baseline consciousness. George Miller did a fantastic job at delivering this exact sentiment. I am overall pleased with the aesthetic cinematic treatment compared to its predecessor for continuity and not overdoing with CG.
Dramatic pacing and character introduction is given justice with sufficient screen time to develop their story arcs and finale plot. The wasteland is merciless and spares nobody.
Flawless execution 10/10.
We need to keep George Miller alive so he can keep making these movies for as long as possible.
Get Miller an abode in the Green place!
And how do you suppose we do that?

Some fun facts:
1. The script for this movie was given to Charlize Theron to help her prepare for Fury Road. It pre-dates Fury Road and Miller thought about making it first.
2. If you’ve played the Mad Max videogame from 2015, it gives a lot of background about the characters in this movie, including Chris Hemsworth’s.
3. If this movie follows the videogame lore, then Chris Hemsworth’s character is the father of the little girl that Mad Max keeps having visions of during Fury Road (Glory the Child).
Are you serious?! That’s effing awesomeness at its most awesomeness!
but isnt mad max the game's seperate from the canon? since it was drastically different from the 2015 movie which was suppossed to be a tie-in?
#1 and #2 are only partial truths, but overall is legit.
it has been almost 10 years since fury road, If he really had the whole script done back then why did it take this long to finally make it? at this rate if he is trying to set up something with glory the child it will take another 10 or maybe more to tell it. By the time he finishes this at the rate he is going only the most hardcore fans will even remember fury road by the time it comes out

I'll have to figure out how to meet my father to see it since he moved 400 miles away.
I’m sorry for your loss. Be sure to reach out to your dad and make an effort to see this together. Hope you guys enjoy.
I hope you get a chance to watch it together, but if that doesn't work out, you can try to watch it at the same time in your respective cities and call/Facetime each other immediately after. I've had to do that with loved ones who lived far away. It's not the same, obviously, but it still helps to know they're seeing the same thing as you when something epic happens onscreen. Best wishes to you.
Make it happen.
Sorry you lost your wife hope you heal
Dude your comment broke me. Peace to you brother.
Chris going full Aussie is the best
😂 you forgot "at looking like he cant act" after that.
Best movie of the year and best action sequence of all time! Desert action overwhelming Dune 1.2 is sucked into the sand with the sound of a heart-throbbing engine

Watched this movie today! It was amazing. Great storyline tying all the pieces together. Action-packed. Everyone played their roles well. Great job as always, George Miller.
Yeahh same saw it today great movie
After Mad Max 2015, this one didn't let me down, and with that child at the beginning it felt like reading the book Blood Meridian but set in a post-apocalyptic Australia 🤠😵💫
The trailer theme had no right going as hard as it did. I need to hear the official version now
God Bless David Bowie
@@deadstar44This sounds closer to the Nirvana cover
@@DomPeriodBut David Bowie still wrote the original. Nirvana's unplugged cover wasn't even much different in terms of arrangements except tuning it down.
I thought Midge Ure because I first heard it in Metal Gear Solid 5.
@@DomPeriodwithout Bowie there would not be a cover
REMEMBER ME? 😡
The line uttered by a slightly older Furiosa in Fury Road right before she rips off Immortan Joe's ugly face from his head. That line here literally gave me chills! 😭 ❤️
this !
Is she older furiosa daughter?
@putrirezkia7616 No, she is the same Furiosa. This movie is a prequel to Fury Road. It tells the story of Furiosa from her childhood to teenage & how she was abducted from her family & how she ended up with Immortan Joe, and also how she lost her arm.
@@TheSChannelso do i watch this first before watching fury road? cause haven’t watch that either
@zylo2k It is not a must, but it could be an added advantage. Because Fury Road does not really tie into this movie except this being the origin story of the Furiosa from Fury Road. I would still suggest you to catch up with Fury Road on streaming or elsewhere. Because it is just a great action movie & also so you can witness Charlize Theron's captivating performance.
watched this yesterday and it was amazing! I'm glad I finally got to watch a George Miller Mad Max film in the big screens it was an experience
George Miller keeps making the same movie over and over again for forty years and I still want to watch it every time he does.
You and I remember Babe 2: Pig in the City VERY differently. 🤣

LoL 🤣, you're just as weak as the rest of us! 👍💖 I meant my comment in a nice way, not poking fun at you.
Happy Feet was a little different than this imo
I haven't been this giddy for a movie in a very long time. Thank you George Miller.
Going to see this but I’m looking forward to the mad max sequel to fury road more

@@MtpMuzik you think so?How could they possibly mess this up ?
Watched it twice in IMAX at my Odeon. Just wow. So visceral and I love how Miller keeps the camera centred and still so you can enjoy and experience all of the action sequences. Oh and that drum best during the action scenes is reminiscent of Terminator 2 when the T1000 is chasing. Go watch it!!
Are you talking about the middle of the film when the rig fought against the air pirate dudes? If so, yeah, that was intense!
Another "movie" about stronk wahmen for NPCs? I'm sure it'll do great lol

Just come in from seeing it. Very good indeed!
Fury Road blew my mind in the cinema and I rewatch it a couple of times a year. I'm so glad Miller got to make this.
Really cause y’all let it fail and this movie is a girl boss garbage movie like all the rest of the movies that came out the past 3 years
If fury road was so amazing it would have gotten a sequel the next year.
There was a legal dispute over a bonus between Miller and Warner that likely delayed any sequel. Also its a bit much to turnaround a sequel in a year, unless you're talking about a LOTR situation.
@@johnnyr3340 yes, because every good movie immediately gets a sequel. sound logic.

hemsworth did an awesome job.
loved the sound design and the colors, learned a bit about millers style of filming and will use it on my proyects in the future, it inspired me a bit.
kinda missed the music from Fury Road but there were hints of it...
Hemsworth: How much Aussie do you need?
Miller: Yes
Shows how much you don't know of our country. Most of it is rainforest and coastal Eucalyptus. Only the guts of the country and WA are really dry, and we don't pay attention to WA.
Nobody cares for him or this girl boss movie garage
Anybody else hearing 'The Man Who Sold The World' in the score there? That intentional? George Miller is a cinematic genius. Long may he reign!
