Just finished my first play through. And while I won't spoil anything with specifics. I will say it's definitely worth a second replay, maybe more depending on what choices you make.
This is my first experience with Armored Core as well and this game has absolutely blown me away. The bosses and AC fights have been my absolute favorite part and the way they put you into the zone is amazing. Wish they had fleshed out the PVP a bit more, but it's still very fun.
Loving it so far. Never enjoyed getting my ass kicked so much lol. Perfect blend of old and new AC along with some other ideas brought over from recent fromsoft entries.
This game has the best story in fromsoft games and im not even kidding. Didn't think I'd shed a tear for a god damn robot but here i am. Man the endings were extremely emotional.
Man, both the Fires of Raven and Liberator of Rubicon endings had me so sad. I didn't want to fight any of the bosses/ACs there :( The Alea Iacta Est ending was a bit of a mindfuck, and I'm not sure I'll do it again given the way the story goes and who you have to fight, even if it is considered by some to be the "true" ending.
11:30 Actually, Ravens can mimic human speech extremely well. In fact, despite parrots being famous for mimicking us, Ravens are known to be just as good, even excelling parrots. Ravens have been known to mimic wolves, foxes and even the sound of engines for various vehicles. They can even mimic common or random noises. Shattering glass, doors creaking, even splashing water. It's insanely cool.
Same! But now I'm kind of stuck at that flying boss with that shield that spams those huge salvos of rockets 🥲 But I'll figure out what to use eventually.
@@johan9388The strategy I used in the end was staying really close so my weapons actually hit and do not ricochet, for this mission I used Reverse Joint legs with Handgun, Missiles and Plasma Handgun, gotta say regular Handgun ammo is kinda low...
@@Luanciel Oooooh dude I totally forgot the ricochet was a thing! I remember the training now. I've gotten him like half health a few times but then he went all aggressive with his blade and that kept messing me up. I was thinking about using the shield but idk if that'll be a good counter for it. I just can't seem to dodge or evade the blade attacks most of the time.
I'm still hesitant to invest time in it. It looks cool, but never been a big mech game fan. Loved everything FROM Soft since DeS. But it just doesn't look like my kind of jam.
The cosmetic customization is so goddamn deep. And the graphic design suite is pretty impressive for a video game. The Scottish side of my family have a badass fuckin’ family crest that I reproduced and it looks amazing on my AC’s shoulder. If you fight an AC with “Ne Oublie” on it’s right shoulder, piloted by Graham Specter, look the fuck out!
That's really cool. I even googling it: Ne Oublie” is a Scottish Gaelic saying meaning “Never Forget,” a phrase that's been passed down through the family for generations. See you on the battlefield: AC: Gepard Pilot: DJ\'U
@@andreasplaygame2724 You looked up the crest? Nice! Getting the heron right was a pain in the ass, took a bunch of different parts. I’ll see you on Rubicon!
Gravity death counter, day 620. 0 Deaths in this video, 196 deaths this year. what could ever be better than big mechs mindlessly destroying eachother?
Leaving a like and a comment to boost the video, as I like yah Prod; but I'm not spoiling the game for myself. I hope it's good; I look forward to playing after Starfield.
I didn't think I'd like it because it doesn't sound like my type of game, but I figured if fromsoft makes it, then it's probably good, so I full sent it-one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life.
I ll be honest, i m an hardcore gundam fan and i couldn t have Asked fof a better mecha game. I guess souls games especially ds3 are jo longer My favorites🙌. Still they come 2nd Oh please complete the training, it really helps with controls and gifts you free new wepons and parts. After Like 10 missions you unlock the 3rd and 4th training missions and they give you the laser pistols, hands down one of the best wepons in akimbo configuration
As a long time AC fan, its good to see newbies jump in. However, if this inspires you to go back and play the other games (for one, great!) DONT expect them to play like this, this one is VERY MUCH Dark Souls inspired. The boss fights in particular are straight up Dark Souls, whereas in past games they werent.
I'm looking at the gameplay and it looks absolutely sick. The omnidirectional combat reminds me of Attack on Titan whish I love. However, seeing as Fromsoft did this, I feel like I should be passing this, as I would hate to have to retry every single enemy/boss 5 times. :(
Previous games gave some parts for S or A rank performance in trainings. Don't know about 6 tho. Also seems like you really are the last "Raven" now XD
Damn, I so want to continue watching you play AC6 but I haven't gotten the time to play it for myself yet so your playthrough will have to wait. Looks amazing though
Damn, never played an AC game before but this looks amazing and fun.. currently playing Demon's Soul's Remake for the first time but screw it take my money again fromsoft 😅
I did some maths to find the rough height of an armored core. I found in one of the lifts there are stair cases. the AC was about 2 cases high. each case having 18 stairs. each standard American stair is about 7.5 inches so multiplied that with the 38 stairs and got 270. so I divided that by 12 to make it in feet and got 22.5 feet tall in AC 6. in AC 1they were 32.8 feet tall and in in 5 they were 16.4 feet. so my math seems close.
Fun fact and I totally didn't make this up, there is an easter egg when handler "walter" says you are a brain fried merc, it is a reference to breaking bad where he is walter white and you are jessy pinkman
Judging by the comments, I'm guessing a lot of the people here on TH-cam don't know, he's been playing the game on stream for a while now, and has been talking about it a lot with others like Lost. There's probably not much advice or whatnot you can give that he doesn't already know.
The jet lance you get later on is pretty damn good too. It stuns AC's like no tomorrow and it's stupidly strong in pvp if you catch them in acs overload
@awhellnah__ That's impressive. I would never have though it was so light weight, looking at the amount of stuff on screen. Yeah, I might just have to go with a low spec computer then. Thank you.
I already got all the endings and maaan this game is absolutely insane. Only thing i hated is how PISS EASY it became after the halfway point. I don't think I've died more than 10 times after the halfway mark, 0 deaths on the final 3 bosses too.
Finished my first playthrough, i really love FromSoftware's cinematic approach throughout the gameplay. While Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries is my first mech game, Armored Core 6 fulfills my fantasy of piloting a mech with more movement freedom. It really gives you the "main character" vibes when you play it.
Anybody find the IA-C01 missile pods yet? I have the whole EPHEMERA frame as well as NEBULA and MOONLIGHT. Can't find the missile pods anywhere though.
So... this is the game? You constantly dash in all directions very fast, and shoot whatever you see with whatever you have. In seemingly 5-10-minutes long "destroy all things" encounters which are impossible to distinguish one from another. Is it how it's going to be, or somewhere later game becomes, you know, interesting?
You fight robots. There are many different robots and you may make many different robots with which to fight them. It feels incredible to play and is highly satisfying. If that doesn't interest you, that's fine. But yes, that is what this game is.
Watching this, I have no idea why anyone would by this. Like some old arcade game or something...not meant for at home play at all. Toss in a tolkien, play a bit..... walk away.
There are 5 chapters and I'm 6H in and finished chap 1 now. There is arena mode and the true ending in on NG++ with unique missions up til NG++ as well. If you explore some and learn AC stats a play through could take 20-30H which is really good for single player. Games used to be like 4-6H.
Unless you're only doing story missions and/or really good the game, then yes, it's short. But doing the other things available will add more than maybe 50+hrs(at least that's like an average for some games, but I can be wromg for how long games should be)
