there is one thing i do before getting attacked by colours 😂 😂, cover my hairs with a lottt of coconut oil and body with a layer of it too, it helps removing the colour easily you lucky its just powders and water there and not the hard colours they don't easily come off. We had 2 rounds of holi here in my village & it was my 1st time too . 1st round in the morning was bathing everyone in cowdung water at their homes & in the mud at open farm lands 😂😂 2nd round in the evening was all colours Man i had a blast this time & i hope everyone enjoyed their share also

I would think having the colored powder on your face it would get into your eyes. Glad that all of the color washed out of your hair and face. Where you able to get the color out of your clothes? I would think that you are looked at more favorably by the local people in India when you are willing to participate in events they feel are important. Even though fun it must have gotten annoying when everyone wanted to put more and more colors on you. You both were great sports and glad you enjoyed your day of celebrating.
It was so nice to have some friends to celebrate with :) surprisingly it didn’t bother our eyes at all! In terms of clothing sadly we had to get ride of our shirts there was just to much dye and it would be to much of a hassle to bring it. It did come out of our pants though so that’s good! :) I think the fact that we were so colourful made people come up to us with more colours (which we actually loved and everyone was really respectful and always ask before covering us in colours, which was so nice!).
