Lovely retro viewing as normal. One suggestion, that you are welcome to ignore if you already have positive feedback on the topic, is to reduce the amount of die rolling scenes in preference to narrative or description of player intent. Personally, watching dice roll, except for some critical rolls, such as Titan death, is pretty boring. Regardless, great job and appreciate all the work required to put such a report on.
@@peterloft6281 thank you and I appreciate the feedback. I cut out a huge amount of dice rolling as I myself find that to be not that important. But at the same time I feel that it needs to be in there as it’s a table top game that dice are a large part of the experience and it gives the feeling of us playing out a real game rather than a scripted game if that makes sense. I really want to game play to look genuine to give that immersive feeling but not let the dice be the focus of the videos. Really appreciate your honest feedback as I take all comments on board. I like seeing the dice rolls for that brief moment of tension as the dice come to rest. Also enjoy seeing what you guys get for lunch though I can't provide an explanation for that 😆. Cheers bud 🍻
@@Cam_of_Warwick thank you my friend and I’m really happy you enjoyed the game as it was probably my favorite game I have played of Epic so far. So much going on and with Ghaz and Yarrick being these iconic characters but then the titans stealing the show. Lunch was exceptional. Especially the beer lol
Awesome
@@bringbattlewargaming8720 thanks my friend and for Gork sake get some f’ing Epic painted over the holidays. Do I need to pay you to do it? Lol
@thecrownofcommand5830 waste of money mate. I will get it painted but got too many projects
Love this game. More Batrap of Epic is needed. Maybe a narrative story campaign - about an Ork with big ideas 😂
@@Mark-nh2hs sounds good mate and I’m sure Ghaz will be the perfect job for the task lol
Phenomenal battle report!
@@danielcannon9893 thank you very much for letting me know you enjoyed it
Played Final Liberation a lot, collected some of the Epic miniatures but couldn't find an opponent and GW seemed to move away from it all too quickly. Glad Epic is still being Loved.
@@clockmonkey ah yeah that’s a shame and a similar story for many that played Epic I think. If you were lucky enough to have people to play then they generally played it for years. Hope you get to have a game though as it is a classic! Thanks for leaving a comment and watching the video mate
You even have the classic epic buildings that came in the starter boxes?
@@WarpstormChronicles yeah that was a lucky find as a guy in the US was going to chuck them all out so I got a bargain there only paying shipping. Praise the Emperor for that one.
@@thecrownofcommand5830 Man I wish so hard to make a find like that in a charity shop or something!
@ they are out there and patience is your best friend when it comes to finding stuff like that. But if you are on Facebook I would suggest asking the sales groups there as you never know
that's pretty cool, never played epic. Looks fun, seems to favor the orks massively tho, Ork weapons taking out imperial tinans in one shot XD?
Just glorious. I would like to know if the banners are printed or hand painted?
My Imperator Titan banners are the stickers from the box. Slightly moldy.
My Warhounds I painted the banners to match the pictures.
My Macharius campaign banners are hand painted, just not well.
@@nathancantwell602 thank you and all are hand painted.
@@paulrogers5032Cheers. Great job. Love it.
@thecrownofcommand5830 Nice one. Very inspirational guys.
Good stuff!!
PLEASE show the army cards though! And how many points was it total?!
@@misomiso8228 it was 8K per side and I did show the army cards in the video just bit separately.
@@thecrownofcommand5830 yes just got to that bit! ty!
LOVED the video though! Next time please please PLEASE can you take more Imperial Guard COMPANY cards, as that is the way they were designed around - ie big companies rather than taking smaller detachments.
Ideas include: An Imperial Guard Rocket Company (You are almost there with the Manticores), A Lemon Russ Company, and a Shadow Sword Company. You can still take some detachment cards, but the Imperial Guard looks so good in all it’s Glory when organised as companies!!!
And also for the Orcs…take a Gargant Mob! Lots of fun!

@@misomiso8228 thank you for the feedback and we will be back with a lot more Epic next year. And yes I do plan on making a big mob to play as a campaign using the Titan crew experience system in TL. Paul will play IG as he wants as it’s his army and collection. But I’m sure he would agree with playing more companies. I do enjoy it when he takes the Rough Rider company. That looks spectacular on the table top. Thanks for the feedback and watching the video report.
@@thecrownofcommand5830 Great stuff guys! How dare Paul think he can play the Guard how he wants! He will line up the army as the Emperor directs!
I miss this game. As loyal servant of the emperor, i DONT miss ball rounds! lol. Great battle. I love the paint jobs.
Bloody ball rounds. I think i still have ball ptsd. :)
@@jamesmaybrick2001 lol thanks mate and happy to hear you enjoyed the battle. May the Emperor bless his many ball shot missing marines out there
First video I've seen of yours or even the epic version of the game, gonna have a look at your other videos
@@darrenfowell6677 awesome to hear and thank you for watching then
That was the problem with space marine was the amount of bookkeeping with all the cards. It made man o war look streamlined.
By the way your double is an aussie actor, he plays a teacher in inbestigators on netflix.
@@rossdiggle lol not familiar with this show but will have a look next time I sub Netflix again this Christmas holidays
I love Epic, but the initial set up is really convoluted
Please do Squats if possible, used to love their land train
@@arandomoshawott6902 a great suggestion and my old Squat army is in need of TLC and an update. A plan for 2025 for sure
Can you still get the old style epic trees? Great looking armies, guys! Painting Epic orks next year!
@@Lee-o7u4t you sure can. K&M Trees are hand made in the U.K and available now on their website. Awesome to hear that your mighty Waaagh is getting some paint. Gork be praised!
@thecrownofcommand5830 Gork and Mork as there is an enormous number of the blighters. Thanks for the name, as could not dredge it up!
Epic!!!! It makes me want yo play. I really need to. I never did it😢
@@cachofriki well you are in luck as there is a lot out there if you are looking to start out. So don’t feel discouraged but look at what you can start out with realistically. PDF of all the books are online on FB groups etc. including all the cards to help build your initial force. Start at 2K and work up for there. That’s my advice anyway. If you have a 3D printer then you are practically set. Cheers for the feedback and watching the battle report
@@thecrownofcommand5830 Luckily I have two original core boxes and the imperium supplement. All I have to do is paint some minis and start my self a solo game, then fool some poor chap in the club
Almost prefer this era overall. Awesome terrain
@@lewis26ful thank you
in charge of 100s of troops including titans" pretty much like modern 40k is now...
Cheers
Thanks so much for the considered and appreciative reply CoC. Certainly understand your desire to show that the game isn't chess ;-). Ultimately, I come to go ohhhh and ahhhh at someone putting in the immense effort to put armies that look straight out of the GW issues of my youth on the table top is possible. I can see a lot of considered thought in what you put up so no problem with the editorial choices you make.
