This was a really fun idea. I probably wouldn't rip my card though lol maybe another penalty option 😅 but 3 our of 4 not bad. Not bad. This might be a fun idea for a race too. Two of you open a pack, the other decides which shiny you hunt out of the pack, first to 5 wins. Might do this with my brother lol
Card ripping is awful, give away the card instead. Why waste the card? At least someone else gets to enjoy it and the penalty is still realistic as the ripper wouldn't have the card still.

I’ve been hunting forever in Pokémon heart gold for a shiny heracross and one day when I was watching one of your videos I finally found it, so I managed to find a full odds shiny. This shows that if you subscribe to PM7 and watch and like his videos, you actually DO find shinies. Also, thanks for the great content!!!
(Had to make a TH-cam account just for this one!) For the Shiny Signed Greninja, my favorite part of the video was honestly watching you catch all of those shiny frogs. Croagunk has become a favorite Pokémon of mine because of your channel, which helped me discover a love for frogs! All of those shiny Croagunks are one strong army
seeing John react to catching the shinies that don't count are probably my favorite parts of the video. the different reactions like the cherrim and the parasect are really interesting (and the fact he got 19 shinies that didn't count is crazy)
My personal favorite part is the utter joy at finding a shiny male combee. That is something I have never seen before. Additionally, the "shines that don't count" counter was very relatable, because I have found so many shines that I didn't want or like.
tbh i like most shiny's machoke but it was the 2nd shiny that i found 1st shiny i got machamp is one of muy faves bc it was the 1st shiny i ever got (pokemon quest belive it or not) but 1 up qwagsire i have my dream shiny now (kirlia Y E Y) don't ask how but i have found 9 shinys but 8 caught with no shiny charm (i have less than 60 hrs)

Out of all the favorite parts I could think of, I think the one part that I would fave the most was at 12:50. The fact that he chose to keep opening packs and look for shiny Pokemon after ripping up the cards (very heart-breaking moment in my opinion and I probably would have ended the video and cried myself to bed) shows how determined/committed he is to the video/content. Great video, congrats on the shiny Pokemon and cards you opened up! My favorite moment for the Radiant Greninja has got be how much time the first hunt group took and the amount of Croagunk that was caught in the process. My first natural shiny in Arceus happened to be a Croagunk aswell. I also have a Radiant Blastoise so it would be cool to add a new radiant to my collection.
When i saw John rip those cards up... all i could think of was Seto Kaiba... MY MAN WITH THAT KINDA ENERGY!? It hurt... lol. However that ending was pretty neat
