It’s hard to believe people really thought this guy and his compatriots were less than what they are. Some very smart people with drive and ability ready to defend a country that was failing them at the basic freedoms they fought and died for. So glad I got to see this.

Colonel McGee was credited with shooting down a Focke-Wulf 190 in aerial combat - one of the top German fighters of World War II.

Lord I am so proud that men exist. Honor, persistence, and glory was proof that color doesn't have borders, all of those men deserve to be treated like men ,regardless of color.

The CCC was not a 'make work' program. We are still today enjoying the use of infrastructure created by the work of the young men enrolled in that program.

It is incorrect that the Red Tails never lost a bomber under escort. This takes nothing away from these heroes. As it is said “they fought 2 wars.” There are chapters of the Tuskegee Airmen Association throughout the country. They do good deeds to honor the Red Tails and try to insure that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

America and its military could have been and could be greater if inclusion was the model. Now with politics as it is we are regressing backwards toward segregative thinking. America loves it's biggots who keep strife flowing and growing. Will we EVER learn we would be stronger united than divided. I don't think so. 😴

The P-51 was NOT the best fighter the US had in WW2. The F4u Corsair was. And the Korean War never ended. It's still breathing.
