🤣 I hear ya. I never lived on site until I moved down south & I can honestly say I didn't get many knocks on my door but the few times that I did, I wouldn't answer the door for the fact that it probably was a resident cuz I didn't know anybody in the area. I spoke with a few residents who saw me after that & said they knocked on my door when they were locked out, or whatever the reason was & I told them when I'm off the clock I'm just a resident like them. If they have an after hour emergency they need to call the emergency maintenance number that way the call is documented & whoever is on call will respond. Just cuz I lived on site doesn't mean I'm on call 24/7. We had a 3 man on call rotation. Once I explained that to them they understood things & I didn't really get many knocks on the door. But I know there are properties out there that have residents knocking on staff members doors for anything & everything. I'm just glad I didn't have a property like that.
