So I've been doing headlight restorations for almost 2 years and the number one thing that I've found to be the MOST EFFECTIVE, QUICKEST AND CHEAPEST for cleaning and removing majority of the oxidation is Magic Erasers. If you haven't tried I highly recommend you use instead of toothpaste w/ baking soda
I definitely will. I've been trying to get my detailing business off the ground but alot of people have claimed to be mobile detailers but are more a mobile car wash. Which has people hesitant about actual detail pricing and not understanding the difference in quality detailers.
Detailing was something I added to my mechanic shop because I liked doing it and because it kept me busier in the beginning, people underestimate the amount of work it really is…. A lot of times I’d say it’s more tiring than mechanical work
Btw I have a 03' Mountaineer 4.6L AWD and I have now decided after watching this video I will be doing the same with my chrome grill. P.S. to my other comment regarding using magic erasers for headlight restoration it is vital to tape off paint near your headlights because magic erasers will take clear coat off
