    That was like you were teleporting! New background looks good but you could go with Hello Kitty now and again.

    Should have used the Hello Kitty one for additional badassery points.

    Nitoryu is difficult as hell. The one handed strikes are killer for me to pull off. >~

    Hey Andy, could you give me some tips on how to hit faster and have a more explosive energy (don't know if you say that in English, sorry). Senpais and senseis keep sayint that I should and I can move faster, but for me I'm doing the best that my body can. Thanks for the videos;)

      Ik it's a bit late for a response, but I learned that keeping your elbows bent gives it a bit more explosive and surprising effect (which I call the spring effect). Using your wrisr more could give your cuts (and maybe recovery) more speed. Use both and u got you're self some fast cuts (works well with kote and men)

    Hi Andy i wanna ask is pushing a hansoku?
    In my last shiai I was pushing my opponent when we were in tsubazeriai and the Shinpan told me that I could get a hansoku because of it (he didn't give me one yet, just a warning at that time). But I obeyed and didn't push my opponent again.
    But my opponent still pushed me, specially when I was at the edge of shiai jo he pushed me out. I got a hansoku but my opponent didn't.
    So is pushing gets you a hansoku?

      Hi there @Aryadi Subagio.
      The way I understand it is: You are allowed to push your opponent but normally you have to try and follow up on an attack afterwards. You can't just push them for nothing,that is frowned upon and can cause you a hansoku.
      I've seen some fights where the opponent is pushed out of the shiaijo. It's a bit of grey area I guess. I hope this helped you out.

    I say to the guy if people are really complaining about it not being "traditional" kendo to just ignore them. Kendo is fundamentally a modern sport with almost nothing in common with actual combat (especially post WW2 kendo where even throws have been done away with). It is a competitive sport where you should just focus on what works for you.

    I think the new background looks good, but it doesn't really match the brightness of your face taken by the camera. If you could adjust the white balance of your camera a bit to not make the colours appear so bleached then it would look a bit nicer.

    Is Nito-Ryu a writing mistake?  It's a Nitou-Ryu.

    • @Suigetsukanno
      @Suigetsukanno 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Different forms of writing it in English characters. While "Nitou" is the correct transliteration from hiragana, it is typically written as "Nito"
      Some prefer ô/õ/etc.
