Hi. After viewing this video I was able to locate one in stock and purchased it for personal use. Perhaps I missed it, but which dot did you use to replace the one that was provided with the firearm? Does this use a plate system? I guess I'm trying to find out whcih footprint Girsan is using.

ive got a girsan 1911 .45...mc1911ct....and i have yet to find another 1911 magazine to fit it and cycle properly....even the stock magazine doesnt run 100%....and the optic that came with it would shut off after 2 or 3 rounds and it just hasnt been a trustworthy gun for me....i currently use it with a rope tied to it as an anchor for my kayak....keep hoping that the rope breaks....i will say though....it does work pretty well as a kayak anchor.
Your resident 1911 expert has a really bad flinch issue lol. I'm looking forward to the officer size carry version similar to the Bul Armory SAS II Ultralight but a really long trigger is unacceptable on this style gun regardless of price point which pushes it into the no go category as is.
Girsan's metal frame guns are really really nice, not sure about their poly lines. I have the MC regard and it's a Beretta clone, and from my research those particular models are actually made ON Beretta machines that Girsan bought from Beretta.
I read that the 2311 in 45 acp is 1.6 pounds. That's 25.6 ounes! Wow. My CZ p01 Omega is 28.2 oz. If I can find one at a great price I can see this as another gun for my collection.
Looks like he’s zeroing at 7 yards. There is a plethora of 9mm double stacked pistols out there right now. Cheaper usually means it will need some adjusting. I wish they made a model in 45ACP that would be more unique in todays market.
There is a plethora of double stack pistols but none can touch this price point in the 2011 game. Its pretty solid but if you like to tinker this is the gun for you
These guns feel air soft quality on pretty much every component. EAA cat fished us. Played with one at shot show and was interested, got the production model in and was severely disappointed. Not worth dealer cost and absolutely not worth MSRP. It’s being sold.
@@SMASHTIME we actually had to pay for ours, so we approached it as a customer. Ours seemed to run as well. (For how long who knows). However that does not negate the poor quality of pretty much every part. We have it sitting next to prodigy’s and rock double stacks (para based). We’ve had to essentially price to just get our money back, bc no one wants it after feeing it. The absolutely trash optic they included was hilarious. Also they are not truly rmsc compatible and we’ve had issues finding a dot that fits. The front lugs on ours are out of spec. Holosun is out of the question entirely. The LFA Apollo feels much better and will do better for 1k if the delivered guns match the test units.
@@SMASHTIME not always true…I mean let’s be real this is a $350 Tisas/EAA 1911 dress as a 2011. This is a $500-600 at best. I am not knowing them as a company I love their products and way underrated but in my opinion they botched this one. Every 2011 style pistol has a bull barrel and look at most Springfield quality 1911 with bull barrels $700-$1000 I mean even the jankey prodigy has dropped down to $1100. I think live free armory knocked it out of the park with the Apollo 11 and it’s $979 msrp with bull barrel.
@@avigarespeople reflect on things that are expensive with high quality components, all sourced and made in the USA, also has a excellent reputation. People will ignore that and will just say "overpriced" or say my glock is better than that pistol. We need to stop being so subjective on price or gow that manufacturer reflects on your own opinion. Instead we can bring the community a lot closer just by saying thats cool, nice pick, awesome pistol, get that out on the range and run it till it dies. If we said those things i think that we will have a larger community than we already have, want more people in the 2A space with the attitude and what i said earlier is going to make thay happen. Conpared to what i said in the beginning
The front slide serrations... Way to far forward to be useful. It's direct under the front site post. Kida dumb. If your going to put in the effort and cost make it useful. Guess I'll just have to keep my money and stick with my 226. But hey with ally armory craft, gray guns, and sig armorer's parts its got a SA trigger better then most stock 1911's 😉.
I've been waiting for this to drop, I've been very impressed with their other 1911 and their Beretta 92 clones.

I had such bad experiences with their regular 1911 and HiPower clones. Don’t think I’ll ever buy another one. I do love the Tisas guns though.

How thick is the grip? I have small hands so if it is too thick, I may not like it. I recently sold my RIA double stack 1911 for the same reason.
Grip is about the same as any Double stack 9. Was the RIA a 9mm?
