That was the resistor that is needed for the tach to operate.

That blank spot was the perfect spot for a tach. Did you have to wire it from the engine or was it pre wired?

It's pre-wired.

Wired from factory. Just needed to add the tach and resistor.

i didn't measure it. it was an oem tach i got from ebay.

I tried to add a tach to one of my vehicles many years ago. I had no idea what I was doing. I managed to get it fitted but never got it to work. I suspect I managed to ruin it somehow.

yeah maybe i had to put in a resister from the 4x4 to get mine working.

What is the name of the last connector you put in, so that the rpm will work

the resister under the hood? not sure what exactly it called but i pulled it out of the 4x4 i also have.
