Gil should coach. His mind seems perfect for the role. And if Steve Nash can get that opportunity with no experience, I don’t see why the Wizards can’t make that happen for Gil.

I do think he'd be a phenomenal coach but I don't think Gil has any interest in that at all as he's just chill with his life having the freedom to do whatever he wants and not be in anyone else's schedule.
What he said about free agency was consistent with what he told JJ Redick in the summer. He's honest about the situation he's in and happy with it.

When Gil brought up the defense needing to switch i can see Bradley got Vietnam flashbacks of snapping on his team halftime about defense.
Much needed and great interview that didn’t even feel like one. Love the growth and sustained maturity. You can tell he’s locked in and has a great family dynamic. Once Beal stays in Sniper Mode on both ends he will take the Wizards to the next level.

At age 33, this man will make $57,128,610 in the 2026-27 year. That's 696,690 per game (if he played all 82 games which, spoiler alert, he won't). Assume he averages the same minutes played (36) in that season, which it will be less for sure, he will make, on average, NEARLY $20,000 PER MINUTE. (And realistically, it's closer to $25,000 per minute).
