You instructed the rolled hem beautifully. My favorite oversized marbled silk scarf has a section of separated hem from 20 years of wear. I am encouraged to make the repair and wear it for another 20 years.
You’re welcome! That is an excellent question! To go around the corner I will roll hem all the way to the edge and then I will turn it 90° and be very very careful to roll the hem of the first side into the hem of the second side sometimes you have to trim off the excess from the first side. Some thing that I find helpful is using the tip of my needle to push the bulkiness into the hem. I hope that makes sense! Let me know how it goes.
I’ve been trying to figure out what this hem is called for a while now! I’m using it on a pair of pj shorts I’m working to hem around the legs so it looks like, flowy and pretty
“Do you remember what your hands can do” beautiful
How very thoughtful to make videos for both left and right handed people.

Thank you ! Yes you could absolutely cut out the frayed part and re-roll that!

5/8 of a centimeter broke me 😂
Yeah, I’m still unsure, is it 6mm? Otherwise, awesome video and the attention given to left handed sewists? Very thoughtful and appreciated.
These are so useful but I'm terrified of corners and I need them for my headscarf.

Hello, how do I sew a rolled hem with contrasting color I’ve seen beautiful pocket squares with this look and don’t know how they do it.
Love it, thank you.
❤️❤️
Wonderful! Thank you for showing us how to do a rolled hem. How would you handle sewing a rolled hem around an inside or an outside corner?? Thanks!

I'm sure the video would be nice like all your other videos, but I can't watch it properly as the captions are wrong.
@@lyshlysh9970 thank you for letting me know! I didn’t realize they are the captions from another video 😳
