An interesting ABS plastic injection moulded custom mech in the iconic HHKB 60% layout.

All of the editing lately has been god-like. This video was no exception

An interesting layout for anyone that wants to try out (inspired by hhkb style like this):
- Move Caps Lock to Left Alt, Left Control to Caps Lock, and Left Alt to Left Control.
- Move Enter to Backspace, Backspace to Right Alt, Right Alt to Right Control.
Might be a mess at first but kinda nice after a while because easier access for pinkies
HHKB layout is great for me when both playing games or programming, also reduces time off the home row. I personally no longer can deal with 65% or larger unless it's a super special board. Perfect spot for the control button. I ordered the iced, one will see how it feels compared to integrated and gasket mount boards.

I use a HHKB as my daily and have been using it for 7 years. It’s the only keyboard layout i prefer. Nice video and great thoughts!

HHKB is my dream layout as a programmer! The dampening on the PCB and below it is amazing!!! Wish I could get this keyboard some day but price is an issue.

I used silicon rubber to dampen my custom 60% tofu with silent optical gateron reds & krytox 205g0... it sounds phenomenal.
Did you mold the silicone yourself in the bottom of the case? Been looking at going that but not sure how thick it needs to be

1.) That keyboard is gorgeous, as is your cinematography (as always).
2.) I have literally never been this early
when i saw the renders I wanted the transparent ones but after seeing them I went with the moon version. After watching this video it sold me on the internal dampener. Also I’m going to pick up the alu plate to see if that improves the feel/sound

its an iqunix f96. its nothing special in regards to quality and feel. but i use it because it has all those keys, and is wireless :)

Hey so i am absolutely in love with the Monstergear Alu XO v2 but i don't know where to find it since it's out of stock. is it on any aftermarket sites or are there any boards like it? (tkl, preferably hotswappable but not needed and if possible something like the side rgb)
Sorry if I am going off topic but do you know a site that indexes all the mechanical keyboards in a way that I can easy filter the feature that I need?
For example low profile + detachable cable + ISO + dedicated media keys + 100% etc.

This is kinda a random question but how do you make tactile switches sound better? I have MX browns... I know... but how can I make them sound better?
Generous amount of 205g0 (Don't lube the stem legs and don't over lube and be spotty. Key is to thoroughly even out the application) Note other major acoustic attributions; Keyboard Plate / Mounting Style / Keycaps

God, i don't need to spend money but good God I love the hhkb layout. I have an hhkb hybrid s and love it unaltered for work and even games
Can you buy the dampener after getting the board? I ordered the Rama Kara already but am unsure about the dampener.
you should be able to buy the dampener afterwards as it was also sold together with other rama keyboards. Therefore, it might be sold again together with the preorder of another rama keyboard. You cannot be sure though.
It's still being sold on the website. I plan to order one when they release their Kate caps.
Good quality mech from rama, yeah the layout is an issue, 13 months with a 60% I still miss arrows so much, luckily I'm going 75% soon. Where I can get a stand like the one you showed at 13:24? Happy new year man!

Anyone know a part identifier for the LEDs on this board? This is the exact style I want m my custom build to be and I’m always looking for a way to get quality reverse mountable LEDs like these.
Although it's a budget board, it's hard to say it's entry level because of the choice of layout.
KARA (the k-pop girl group) build on the RAMA KARA maybe? That would be sick. Also, KARA means sweet melody.
I don't know if someone mentioned this already but Soya means Soyabeans and it's definitely the color of the beans!

I only bought 160$ kara diy kit and damper where could i buy stabilizers ??
u could buy the kara starter kit for an extra 50usd which inculdes 65 nk cream switches and durock clear stabilizers that fit the board, or u can buy ur own switches and stabs from any other common websites and vendors. and fyi the spacebar on the kara is 7u

Aso, i kinda think that i would love a missing capslock! I could always use a function to activate it differently, ctrl over the shift would be totally my thing, more mmorpgb keybinds that are easy to reach!
