I've been following you for a bit and kept hoping you'd give Gridlife a try out west. Hope you enjoyed it as much we do back in the Midwest. Great driving as always!
Awesome event! Tried to make it to their Willow Springs event earlier this year but was waiting on parts. Might try to make it out East next year for an event or two.
For what it's worth, you are likely only a tire change away from being legal in Track Mod and you'll be more competitive there, so that's something to consider for the future.
@@MattDeReus Was thinking about running the new hoosier 200 next year for Track Mod and Limited class with GTA. Engine swap as well and I should be competitive!
I think 1:30 is really fast already. I'm sure you already know how to go faster... but this looks like a solid banker lap to me, not a 10/10ths push lap- You don't have to do any 'driver stuff' to catch rotations. Either you were taking it a little easy, braking a little early & overslowing, or your setup is a bit too understeer-biased and you could try to find a little more front end grip in it IMO.
Really well done! Very impressive with that car! How did you get the car that light? (what body panels did you change out). What tires and how many heat cycles? Keep up the great driving!
Removing everything that isn't vital to 1 lap wonders, replace a lot of parts with composite, and staying on 17's helps. These were 245/40/17 A7 on their 2nd heat cycle.
Boy that rev limiter at 8250rpm after the bridge.
The content we all wanted.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 nice clean lap

@@EVOFans first time I have ever heard of it but quick search makes it seem promising. Might just have to do my own tire test day.
