    So you have to charge the battery on the strap separately? I see they have a SPC battery strap now, do you know if there will be a conversion kit of some sort? I already have the battery strap without the SPC.

      The new strap will be able to charge both at the same time.
      I haven’t heard of a conversion kit yet but they might come out with one.

      The SPC strap has the magnet already on the bottom of the piece that plugs into your Quest. So, you just leave the strap plugged into the Quest and when you set it on the stand, the magnets attach automatically. You don’t need the extra piece shown on the video.

      I just came here to ask same. Why would the make a stand and a battery head strap to use together, but no way of charging battery from it? I just got mine and I’m baffled.

      I’m not sure I understand. So, just leave headstrap plugged in, set on stand as normal, but remove the male magnetic piece? Sorry to be so dense. I’m new : )

    An attractive all-in-one solution. Unfortunately, there is no information about the dimensions on the homepage.
    Could someone please help me find out how much space the combination of headstrap and charging station with controllers has, i.e. width, depth and height?
    What is the height of the rear holder of the headstrap and would you have to add this if you wanted to put them together on a shelf?

      Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I measured it with my Quest 3 on it that has the Kiwi Battery Strap attached to it.
      It was about 14 inches tall, 12.25 inches wide (this was with the arms out for the controllers to be set in, and 11.5 inches deep with the battery strap on.
      I hope that helps.

    Will this Kiwi dock allow 3rd party head straps, as I read on some comments that this only supports the Kiwi Head strap.

      I don't know if any other battery head straps have the magnetic port in the same place like the SPC Battery Head Strap does. But you can always charge the headset regularly with this dock.

    does this comes it rechargeable betteris for controllers ? how long took charge complete VR and Controllers ?

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This stand does not come with rechargeable batteries for the controllers. It just charges the headset. Charge time for the battery head strap and the headset was between 2-3 hours if I remember right.

    Can it go into sleep mode while on there? Shouldn't the headset mistake the stand for your face and not enter sleep mode??

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it can go into sleep mode while on the stand.

    My Quest 2 sits on it weird and doesnt align with the charger

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmm, that's odd. I have seen Quest 2's on it and it works good. The charger does get pushed down a bit, but that is why it's flexible.

      @@BrianSloanArtist the quest charges fine, it's just crooked on the side with the charger

    Oh I loved this until it quit. Has anyone else has the lights stay on but it just doesn’t charge? I checked all connections , and the cable. Charging doesn’t work anymore. Less than a month old. Returning , getting replacement.

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh no! I still use mine all of the time. Love how easy it is the charge the headset and head strap all at once.

    Hi mate got mine 2day played for 3 hours straight quest stayed at 100% head strap battery went from 4 lights to 1 . When I put the quest on the dock the light stayed green . What I’m wondering do u think it would be better to recharge the headstrap independently because if the quest is fully charged could it not degrade the battery over time .any thoughts?

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  ปีที่แล้ว

      According to Kiwi Design, it is completely safe to charge the head strap while it is plugged into the headset without worries of overcharging.
      Also, thanks for the comment and sharing your experience with it!

      @@BrianSloanArtistI don’t know about overcharging anything can be bad for battery but found a solution just unplug from headset attache cable to magnet then it will charge battery pack independently
