I believe Class 2 Mobility scooters are for pavement use only and can only be used on the road to cross over it to reach another pavement. Just need to understand that you show full respect to pedestrians at all times and if they are passing you it’s safer to pull over and stop in a safe area and let them pass you safely. They are normally a “ boot scooter “ that can be dismantled and carried in the boot of one’s car.
Some please tell this lady that in the UK it is illegal to use a mobility scooter on a public footpath. Check the Road Traffic Act if you don't believe me.
