Please make a video of the self parking features of the EX30. I'm really curious to see how this works. Thanks for all the great videos!
Good vide and race. But if you had chosen the right charger for the c40n at the last charging stop, it would have won by several more minutes
Yes, I made a little mistake on that charge stop.
Nice you guys team up! Nice video
I remember my old Polestar initially massively overestimating range. Last year it got an update to take current consumption. Quick google tells me version P2.9 which came out may last year. It might have something to do with that though I don't quite remember it using those numbers for google maps too (as I never charge outside of home). I presume Volvo might have done something similar on the (X)C40 but not sure.
I thought that the biggest issue between the C30 and C40 was the price. As the C40 in UK... It was well over £10,000 difference although I believe a recent price cut brings it down to a £7,000 difference.
We just dropped a comparo-video a few daus ago, check it out :) There we talk about the price difference.
@@KrisRifa Thanks, I will check it out.
Great video, but the software of the EX30 is still in development and consumption can be lower by better battery management. I wonder what the coming updates will bring. And it would be nice to see another match!
What was the total kWh put into each car?
the EX30 is higher than C40 roof wise?
great content.. somehow youtube is suppressing your videos. You need some help in youtube algo friendly thumbnail. Content is great. Keep it up Kris.
Thanks mate! I will look into that :) Thanks for the feedback!
How slow is slow if below 10%?
no capacitive steering wheel :-(
VolvoChristian stopped outside Kristiansand railwaystation and took a picture. Why didn't you also do it?
Because it wasn’t part of the challenge, he did it because he wanted to 😊
I've been driving the EX30 for a couple of weeks now, and the weird thing is I get better consumption on the highway than in town 🤷 Since regen is all over the place, I wonder if there's an issue there. XC40 didn't have that behavior.
Is it performance version?
perhaps is the HVAC... on shorter city trips, it can take its toll
@@noproblem386 what is wrong with the AC? I heard I can turn on AC and it only use 1% for an hour in EV car.
Wer hat schon die Nerven, den Akku bis auf 0 oder sogar ins Minus zu fahren? Ich jedenfalls nicht.
Deshalb für mich klarer Sieger der c40
Maybe the wet roads caused your range and therefore calculations to lessen?
