    • @captainsewerrat
      @captainsewerrat 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

This. The problem isn't modelling at 13, 10 or even 8. The point needs to be: The kid needs to enjoy it, the parents need to be there and make sure their child is enjoying it and that the shoots are age appropriate. I wouldn't let me kid model for swimwear for example. If it's normal street clothes for a catalogue? That'S different. The issue with child models are ALWAYS the parents, either because they are greedy or neglectful.

She's still obviously very attractive, but I feel like you could put her with 100 other random influencers and you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. And they do it to themselves. I’m 26 and as a teen I feared being this age. My SISTER at 22 asked for wrinkle cream for her bday. Now I’m 26 and the only surgery I’m planning is breast reduction. Some women grow out of it. But when it’s all you’ve ever known (Megan) you just think you’ll need it. Women’s beauty has an expiration date according to society. Dating app data has proven this as well :(

This isn’t even the half of it. Guys look up “Snapchat dysmorphia” and “selfie surgery.” Where people are getting surgery to look like a snapchat filter or to look better specifically for selfies. The selfie camera distorts your face because of its wide lens/ fish eye effect, so people are literally distorting their IRL face just to look good for their phone camera. Also “botox kids,” where literal babies are getting botox and fillers.
I think society needs a reboot. Maybe go back to the early web era where people were learning to code and making stupid websites? And kids were playing outside until the street lights came on, instead of shopping for wrinkle cream they saw on Tiktok.

Sounds like your friend may have had some kind of clotting factor problem that he probably didn’t know about ahead of time… very scary. I wish somehow surgeons could be required to screen for those types of things before letting someone have such invasive procedures. Another extremely important thing that should be done (but isn’t) is screening for mental health conditions/requiring psychological counseling prior to having surgery… but we still end up with these alien-looking people because we let them just keep going under the knife as long as they have the funds to do so.

ive said it before, anybody is beautiful to anybody else, you don't need to be in this "trend" or force yourself to look a certain way. Humans are all different, that's what makes us unique. Unless your face is completely screwed and you need to get it fixed with plastic surgery, you really don't need plastic surgery. There are so many ways to love yourself, even just a little. You don't need a slight brow lift or more plump lips. We really need to stop pointing out small things about beauty and accept that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ps, I'm not saying you can't get plastic surgery, go get it if you want! but you shouldn't encourage it to everyone else or think it's the best thing for beauty.

my opinion on plastic surgery is that, generally if you get anything done when already attractive, it will not be successful in making you more attractive. it will either look unnatural or otherwise just not obviously better.
however i do think that if you have a "flaw" that you can clearly single out as this one thing that is bothering you, then surgery can be helpful.
i put flaw in quotation marks because being less attractive isn't a flaw in the sense of there being something wrong with you.
it's a flaw just in the sense of there being an average of everything, average size of nose etc. there will always be like 80% of people with average attractive noses, and a small percentage with more uniquely shaped noses. just using nose as a random example lol.
so a flaw in that sense just means to not fall into the average range. everyone by chance has some lucky and some unlucky genes. you can just be real imo and objectively say there are more attractive and less attractive people.
for example, i googled "cute nose" recently because i needed it as reference for something. there was a clear general shape of nose that made up 99% of the results. You get an image in mind when you picture a cute nose, that's different from what you imagine when you hear "unattractive nose".
so to come back to what i started saying, basically, if for example you are just bothered by one specific thing like the shape of your nose, i think there are two options. one is to just not give a shit and live with a less attractive nose. the other is to change it.
but i dont believe that targeting a specific thing that you are unhappy with and want to make better, is bad. it's a goal that requires you to work for it. i respect that.
i don't respect it when 1. you lie about what plastic surgery you have gotten done, 2. you get something done when you already are above average in looks

art the clown from the terrifier horror movies has stans (idc if it's a bad example, I love horror) and if that's not proving that everyone thinks differently about what they believe is good looking, then Idk what does. the most attractive traits are the ones everyone can have, if they work on their mindset. it's being confident/feeling good in one's skin, eating healthy and having healthy skin and hair as a result and getting in shape, these are things that pretty much everyone can achieve and that
are universally seen as attractive by a majority of people, all that plastic surgery stuff is usually completely unnecessary, except for a couple scenarios (I believe everyone can think of them) in which surgery is truly needed. love yourself, take care of yourself and you'll meet people who love you for who you are as well.💙

OK number one, the secret surgery is Hyman reconstruction. [Lol and the implications of that are a bit weird …because she told the interviewer that “she probably wouldn’t need it”? Was that like a dig or something…]
Second Getting ribs removed is a real cosmetic procedure. I remember, of course, wanting it back in the day… And I’m not sure if it is the same as back then… But you had to be a certain height to be able to safely qualify for the procedure?. Megan definitely not a recipient of an alteration like that.
It really really really changes a lot, the way someone walks, sits, breathes . Is even able to carry themselves.
They definitely wouldn’t be able to/or in a miracle situation advised to do anything is detrimental as proceed with a pregnancy

Re rib removal, yes that is a thing, I believe they're referred to as "floating ribs" and they're the bottom two ribs, (one either side), yes it's a thing, yes it's as bad as it sounds, no I'm not joking though I wish I was, I believe it is to produce a more hour glass figure. 🙄😳🤦‍♂
