OMG... what an underrated OST. This is all dark, heroic, mystic, moving... I'm all in right now.
Soundtrack for the game is a masterpiece.
This game... Never had I been thru such an emotional ride for a game like this in such a long time! This game is so extremely underrated from it's souls type of gameplay, to the story, and the OST just packs the final blow through the feels! I'm so blessed to have found this game, brb gonna cry in the corner now

Too many people will see it as just a dark souls clone instead of what it really is, a JRPG.
@@RexhunterjYk i went into this game expecting dark souls but even more anime but the moment i saw the draining mechanic, I immediately went "wait a minute, this is just god eater 4".

@@remiliascarlet3259 Every boss's story made me cry except for Mido. He made me cry for different reasons....... 26 attempts.... including my 3 attempts utilizing multiplayer....
I had to search up who made the ost because it reminded me of the demon slayer ost. It was the same person.

The only thing I wish Code vein had is more care put into the multiplayer mode.
A good multiplayer experience, content and decent servers help A LOT against game piracy, it entices people to actually buy the game to play with their friends and it gives the already devote players a reason to stay playing when there's no more content to exploit.
think for the people who live in a shit country and only earn 250 bucks per month. Are they not human? You guys live in europe or north america, rich country and forget there are hell holes scatered in the world.

You know the game is mean to be offline, be thankful developers added at least a two player coop that shouldn't be included
the MP on PC seems fine, works the same as Dark Souls does and the more recent Elden Ring. If anything MP is easy to use to cheese hard areas as you can just infinitely resummon a friend as long as you aren't in a boss arena.
As I listened to this I kept thinking a lot of the tracks sound very similar to Demon Slayer's. I looked it up and go figure, they're both composed by Go Shiina. Pretty cool that.
Yes, the game's not really polished, the dialogue could use some work, the combat REALLY needs some work, etc etc. But the soundtrack, HOLY SHIT it's amazing, one of the best I've heard in all of gaming. I really, really love how they made the tracks not sound like your typical game ost, but rather something you would hear in a theater, opera, or musical. All of the tracks have this certain, story they tell, each making you feel different emotions at different segments, intricately laid out and arranged by the composer and the director. Each instrument carefully picked out to play their individual purposes in achieving the desired effect.

I feel the same way. I downloaded the game yesterday on the Gamepass ,and I’m about 4 bosses in. The Gameplay mechanics are...decent, not great, however, the musical score is just awesome. I would put the music in the same tier as Bloodborne, DS3, Assassins Creed 2, and DOOM.
Just dark souls dodge everything shadow jumps and strikes and get the queen slayer strikes I found it really easy but I do tend to look at guides if I can’t figure the pattern after the first 10 tries the only boss that gave me pain was the argent wolf beserker cause it’s range was stupid sometimes
I love the gameplay honestly, as it reminds me of God Eater(my favorite series) but in Dark Souls. The ost is done by Go Shiina, my favorite composer. He also did the God Eater osts as well as some of the ost for the Demon Slayer anime.
I have to disagree. I thought the gameplay was every bit as good as a standard Dark Souls game, and I generally thought it was quite polished. It had the best rendition of an Ornstein and Smough fight since Ornstein and Smough.

31:17 sounded like this / it's a mix. If you hear the music in the Bossfight of Mido
15:16 is the music which plays during the Mido Bossfight. There is a phase one and two version of this track on youtube since it changes the moment he switches into his more powerfull phase 2, hope i could help you :)

That song is VAMPS - Underworld
I wonder why that is.... oh maybe because it's from the Band VAMPS

Because they are "lighter musical notes." you can hear the difference between this song and "colossus" (it's just an example) 😉

I still can’t beat the water girl even after a year
She is a tough boss I won't lie. on my first playthrough, I died to her 10 times but then I figured her attack pattern out. On my second time around I died 2 times to her and mainly because my build is dodge focused, so my armor is weak as hell and a simple hit takes me down 1k health. I play aggressively with it though but it can be a challenge at times. If you play PS4 I can help you with her.

the music was so good on this game, sadly i couldnt end loving the game, something in the bosses wasnt memorable, cant fully remember one

might be a bit late to reply on this but thought I'd share my opinion.
The bosses are memorable from a story perspective, but the gameplay part is probably what's lacking.
That's how it went for me at least, from midgame onward they just hit too hard as if the balancing wasn't done right, so your only choice to beat them is to just nuke them down. Once you get a few blood codes maxed and can bring skills of your choosing, you're able to make a "boss killer" build that you simply equip to fight a boss with and destroy their HP before they can land a hit on you. A lack of balance in the gameplay department is what could have caused the bosses to not be memorable for you, which is understandable in that sense.
Oh and the final boss was probably the worst in a game I've had to fight against in a long while, it's second phase is a joke compared to it's first phase.
maybe its only tutorial for dark souls but it have some moments and soundtrack is perfect
No complain for this game except for the endings......seriously none are really the one that you will call as "GOOD ENDING" at all

@@RedRocky54 yes I did. I was devastated because I was using Io as my side character. Then again the ending made a lot of sense and made the song humanity a real tear jerker 😖
The composer really only knows how to make the same songs from God Eater. He did in in Tekken with DIO Di Sirio as well.

Idk, someone told me to check the codevein soundtrack but I just don't see it. Requiem and maybe blue-blooded vein are good but the rest is just average or below average
@@jkarma3356 but its lame. Like there are other games with better soundtracks. Idk first one that comes to mind is Ratchet and Clank or Final Fantasy 7, 10, 13 or games like Zelda: Twilight Princess got good music. I really can’t think of anything other then those two songs mentioned by me above from this game that are just memorable enough as a game ost
Having played the game twice, I actually sort of agree. While playing, I was thoroughly unimpressed by the game's soundtrack. Listening to it by itself, it's actually much richer than I remembered, and I kind of like it now (though none of the tracks you hear most often in-game are even on the soundtrack). CV's music was performed by a live orchestra, which I think was a big mistake and doesn't fit the game's mood at all.
