Hi Lars. I just wanted to stop in and say a big THANK YOU. A long time ago I started using Fusion 360 and had no clue as to how to begin. Your series of Beginner videos came to the rescue. I don't know what I would have done without them. I've designed a full scale, highly detailed, model of the NASA Mercury Space Capsule as well as (just recently) a full scale model of Sputnik. And I didn't just design them in Fusion 360, I used the files to help construct the actual parts. My Sputnik was completely 3D printed using the STL files generated by Fusion 360. So, thank you again for all the hard work you put into creating these videos. Your instructional approach is fantastic.
Glad you're back. #1 Make sure they keep Fusion360 free for us hobbyists. I keep using it for 3D printing and rendering, and maybe one day an opportunity will come up where I can use it for a living.

You know, I actually want to see a complete video, I don’t really care how long, personally I love it when you guys talk because you provide a lot of info; furthermore, of all you guys making one complex part. Therefore you’d capture all the brain power needed towards one piece that can be brought to multiple applications. I’d love to see that, even if the video is five hours!!

Lars, Here is how you can help Fusion 360 customers. Write down everything that you want to say before you begin to create your tutorial. Then convert everything you have written to a PDF with screen shots that coincide with your tutorial. Then ask Autodesk to create a PDF user's manual for Fusion 360 with your content as the core of the documentation. In short, create a PDF users manual. It can be easily indexed and searched. The last I checked, Autodesk has not created such a comprehensive document. There was once a forum of F360 users that I belonged to and it was painfully apparent that the users want and need this document. We're counting on you.
Hi John, Thank you so much for writing. One of my dreams one day is to create the a free Fusion 360 e-book. I think the biggest pushback is how to handle all the updates that keeps being added into Fusion 360. Makes me think this is a project when I retire :-)
You guys need to contact Paul Mcwhother, I'm sure he will have some good suggestions on what learners need of Fusion 360. Personally I have secured a better job thanks to you and a few more youtubers posting tutorials of F360, it has been a great tool for my personal development. NO JOKE! Just THIS WEEK, I reinstalled F360 after about a year of non-use to revisit some 3D prints I had created for my security cameras (having bought a new system I need to change the dimensions for the new system...) I was completely worried about finding the hobbyist’s F360 download (and if it was still available!) being that it was somewhat “hidden” on the website back in the day. I went for the trial version and the non-commercial option was right there - YAY!! I even sent Autodesk a thank you comment from my account page, for still keeping it free for enthusiasts! I can’t imagine what other software I could use, that would be so powerful, and easy to learn, for use with my little Monoprice Select Mini. I LOVE Fusion 360, and I’m glad to have it installed again! The FIRST thing I did was come to your channel to reacquaint myself with the package again, since YOU were the one to take me from Zero to Hero the first time around! I’m Glad to hear you’re back - I’m feeling hella lucky about right now, hearing that you’re back as well - PROPS!
