Hi, I'm a handyman and not too bad at it. I have not come across a particular Venetian blind system before today. I watched your video no mess, no fuss, no mucking around, found out exactly what I needed to know. Thank you.
Yours is the only video that shows all the different kinds. The others had me scratching my head and almost crying in frustration. The third option you demonstrated finally allowed me to remove these ugly things from my windows!! Thank You :)
Oh my god, you are a genius. I watched four other very helpful videos and knew what type I had but I couldn't actually pull them off until I watched yours. I think you showing how to install them rather than starting off with blinds already affixed really helped.
Brilliant no faffing straight to explanation, mine was number two - I was just about to rip the f**k*r off the wall and take the consequences. I am now applying to work in The Repair Shop. Thanks
Wow Thanks for this. I had 7 blinds to remove and would have ripped them off the wall if I didn't watch this. Mine was no 1 and each blind took me seconds to remove. You deserve a medel.
I had been trying to remove my venetian blind for over an hour. I came across your video and removed the blind in a couple of minutes. Thank you for your help!!!
You simply deconstructed a complicated looking mechanism for me, you were clear without faff or preamble. Thank you very much for your help. I can now clean round the top of my venetians :)
Thank you! We have the third (bottom) attachment but most videos online only show the first attachment option. So thank you for your very informative and helpful video.
This. I was the same, skulking around YT trying to find out how to remove my blinds for cleaning. Most of the videos explained the first one, and a couple explaining the second. The third I had a hard time looking for, and it was only through this video that I learned I have the third kind. Kinda complicated especially when your blinds are really long width-wise with a lot of clamps needing to remove manually.
Tip: So just that last one, I had to use the screw driver to unclip and push the blinds back into place, he said to push in and lift up at the same time, but you have to unclip the lil slot again to be able to push the blinds back into place.
thanks - have the swivel lever - thought it was a clamp - tried banging/ bending it up with a hammer - turning the swivel arm released it right away - near decade old grimy kitchen venetian blind is now being cleaned
I'm trying to figure out how to take my blinds down. I have been to about 6 or 8 websites and watched about 5 videos. So far I am 0 for about 12 on getting the answer. Nice video but it did not help me. 0 for 3.
Is it better to take Venetian blinds down to clean them in the bath tub, rather than standing on a stool doing them blade by blade, because that's soul destroying. 😩✨
If all tutorial videos on TH-cam are like this, humanity would save a lot of time 😂. Super helpful and thank you for such clear instructions!!
thanks, glad it was helpful
That lightbulb moment when something that seemed complicated was actually quite simple. Cheers! 👍🏼
