Saw megadeth in Toronto. They came with BLS and Jason Newstead. I got to see Dave and Jason play the 4 hoursmen (Mechanix) itvwas awesome

Saw Megadeth in 98 at ozzfest. It was my first real concert. Slayer played, then Megadeth, then Tool. I'll never forget Megadeth and Tools sets. Fuckin blew my 14 year old mind.
I saw Megadeth in a small club, they still had Marty Freedman. They were amazing. I would like to see them again with the new band line up. Thx

Was at that concert. Fantastic set. 10/10 performance and the energy from the crowd was unreal
Every shot of the crowd looks like nobody's into it. No energy from what I see. Give me a 1994 Pantera show instead.
My biggest issue with Megadeth live is they play the same 10 songs every show and just switch 2-4 depending on the newest album

Saw them 4 times when I was in high school. Gigantour 06, then again the next year in 07, Endgame tour in 09 where I also got to meet Dave Mustaine, and the Rust in Peace 20th anniversary tour early 2010. Hope to catch them at least one more time before they retire. Every show was worth it.
Megadeth, whom i love, is the most underwhelming and disappointing band I've ever seen multiple times. It's boring and lifeless. It's a job for dave. It's not passionate. There's no love there. Just like a normal person going to work at a job they don't particularly care for but need to pay the bills.
I would've done anything to see Megadeth live, especially in the 90s
Id give Megadeth a 4/10 for stage presence, 8/10 for technicality. So 6/10 overall.

Seen them over 10 times live. All after 2000. Saw them perform Rust in Peace (at the Palladium in Hollywood with Testament) and Countdown to Extinction albums in their entirety
Not only did I see Megadeth four times I smoked joint and drank beer with Dave and his hotel room, in Quebec city. At the Delta which I also was staying at, him and Chris Broderick we're eating and then afterward they came over, Dave met everybody but asked me and my brother specifically if we had any marijuana. We did now but the star is aligned and within 2 minutes of running outside we seen a French man smoking pot. I gave him $20 and he probably gave me four grams. I then ran back to the hotel where Dave still was told him I had weed and then he invited us up to his hotel room to drink and smoke weed. Just me, my brother, my friend and Dave. Saw them at Knotfest Australia, they played before Parkway Drive followed by Slipknot
Saw em 10 yrs ago. It was so loud i couldn't recognize what was being played...25mins and I walked out. Sad!
I saw them in Montreal this year, never again. Set list was short, no encore, and they weren't tight like past members.
Oh Bullet is my fav band. I personally would like Bullet more but Megadeth is great too.

I saw them at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood . It was a small crowd and Marty's second to last show in 1999. one week later I saw Black Sabbath at Forum with Pantera opening. Not a bad week.
I will say the energy in modern Metal definitely, lacks and is my biggest grime in the genre. Sadly lots of the people are older or middle aged, people not young hot headed teenage folks.
Oldschool Metal shows tho, would be so fucking 10/10 entertainment.
Shit like Venom in Hammersmith Odeon 1985 or Metallica 1989 Seattle or Guns N Roses at the Ritz 88 or even Sodom 2007 in Wacken.
But yeah today’s shows show, the genre isn’t the same as it used to be 🙁.

Saw the same show in moncton nb was an amazing show
I saw Megadeth live on the night Aerosmith fired them for calling the audience lazy and sitting on a Monday night at 7:30 on a hot Houston night. It was a good show but Dave never did have a real job so he wouldn't know that people that work are gonna be chill on a Monday night at 7:30.

Saw them in the late 90s in Portugal, I was a kid who only knew symphony of destruction so that's all I remember unfortunately 😂
3 Years ago, just before the pandemic, I saw them in London the day that Dave revealed he was cancer free. His singing was dreadful, couldn't understand a word and half of it was out of tune, but the instrumentation, performance and general vibe was fantastic. Solid 9/10 for me, only the singing let it down.

I've seen Megadeth twice. First time w/ Sanctuary and Warlock as openers on June 5th, 1988 @ The Aragon Brawlroom, Chicago . The second time was August 8th, 1997 w/ New Order and The Misfits as openers @ again, The Aragon Brawlroom, Chicago. Both were killer shows. \m/

Good commentary, bro! I've seen Megadeth 3 times. The first time was in Amarillo, Texas, during the Cryptic Writings tour, so I got to see rhem with Marty and Nick. That was an awesome show. They opened with Trust. Also, I saw them 2 times in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with Kiko and Dirk. All great shows!
They played 14 songs........I average 32 at a covers gig! 🤣🤣

I saw this tour. Bullet did a fantastic job and outperformed Megadeth. They were super tight and well rehearsed. Idk what your smoking man
I use to be a HUGE megadeth fan, I still love their older albums, some of their newer stuff. I saw them live back in 07….and was bored outta mind. Dave is honestly just a drag. There is no chemistry between band mates, you never get the impression that they actually enjoy what they’re doing. Basically just Dave and his employees showing up for a shift. 🤷🏽♂️
Saw them when Menza, Marty and Dave was in the line up. I don't feel like I'm missing anything in 2023
I'm from the U.S. of America. Megadeth still plays hard. I saw them in Idabel Falls, Idaho. He opened up saying, " It's great to be back home." That stood out to me. I found out Dave lived in Idaho for a brief time. I saw them in concert. I got a towel from them. I gave it to my Ladyfriend, who was at the concert too. She became my wife and the Mother of my Son.
Saw them in 87 n 88 both were horrible couldn't understand what they were playing .i still would check them out again now

First time I saw Megadeth was on their Cryptic Writings tour with the classic lineup, Misfits open up for them, at the time I only had and knew their American Psycho album, In later years got into their Danzig stuff, Megadeth killed it that night.
Saw megadeth with suicidal on the countdown tour. Saw them again a few years later...then again a few years after that. Met Dave once. Told him I can play all their songs better than all their drummers. Joking around he asked me if I wanted a job to which I replied. Nah. I heard you're a dick to work for. Ellefson and Marty damn near blew snot bubbles trying not to laugh.

I saw this tour with bullet. It was awsome... Dave sounded great. I worked the show spent 18 hours with the band and crew. Dave ate dinner and supper with the crew .. was the best day
Honestly it’s not the bands that are lacking at metal shows these days, the musicianship is off the charts usually, it’s the fans with the low fucking energy compared to back in the day.

I got to see them twice at the Phx fair in az and totally kicked ass! This band is a must see for sure if your s metal fan. Thats coming from a Slayer, Metallica, Ironmaiden, Megadeth fan.

I saw them that same tour about a month ago. They had Oni as one of the openers and the energy there was great. I get what you mean with bullet for my valentine, they mostly just stand still and kinda bang their heads. But megadeth was a good show, more because they had more visuals and kiko can headbang and play guitar so clean live like nobody can. But what mostly makes up the show is the nostalgia and ability to sing and headbang along to their songs. Would recommend 🤘

I saw them at my first concert ever in Hollywood on the rust in peace tour w Alice In Chains at the palladium. I was extremely spoiled right out the gates as far as live acts go. It’s impossible to follow that show with anything better. I’ve seen a few hundred shows in total probably and they all have been great and some not but that was the best show I’ve ever seen.
Dave will be hitting me up for led panels soon. In the near future that Chinese garbage won’t be available

Megadeth came to my city and played for free, when I saw them, they legit played non stop for two hours. The venue smelled like weed and looked like the movie the mist
I seen them a long time ago with Anthrax, Megadeth and someone else. They didn't sound good but I think it was the sound guy. I would love to see them again.
