- 3.0 has some grunt but doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the 3.6 I tested the other day. Attached is the link to the 3.6 0-60 as well so tell me what you guys think!

Would be awesome if they offered the 6.2L LT1 V8 or a DOHC naturally-aspirated V8 as an option, then offered a CT6 Vsport with either a 6.2L supercharged LT4 V8 or a twin-turbo V8.
Cadillac is working on something in the near future. Keep an eye out is all I'll tell you ;)
@@nought2sixty960 yes I think the problem with cadillac is they dont offer a mid performer car either you are slow or too fast they offer the 3.6 liter v6 which is good but you cant compete with v8s then they offer the v series which are too expensive for example mercedes offer non amg models like cls550 e550 c400 etc which are fast as hell and their are not the top of the line amgs..

@@b58forever old post...but I agree. The ATS came out of no where back in 2012 I believe when it was producing low end sports sedan numbers with the 3.6. This was mostly due to a platform change that lowered weight, of course. The vsport (which is now V) was a mid performer but was still quite expensive. The issue here is engine sharing. I would say Lexus has the same issue, too slow or too expensive. GM and Toyota skip the engineering and use their old reliables, the 3.5 and 3.6, respectively. Neither can tune their way out of this self-inflicted constraint. The workaday V6's provide potent thrust, most certainly more than the v8's of yester year, but relatively slow for the price. Mercedes and BWM do not have the same constraints as they are not really sharing non-performance powertrains from other divisions. That, and the fact they are known to have an equal focus on performance and luxury across the board, where Lexus and Cadillac are luxury focus for majority of product lines and performance focused for specific few trim models / trim levels.

Sure wish Cadillac would offer that 3.0L TT as an option for the XT5. Give it some 21" wheels and a sport exhaust to make it a little more muscular. Still a family vehicle but it would be a little more manly. Got a feeling guys would go for that in a heartbeat.

I feel like Cadillac should’ve put the 6.2 liter turbo charged engine in it instead since it’s the main star for big American luxury cars.
This is a mid 13 second car? If they started offering a tune and a few bolt ons it would be on par with the Vs!

Bawan usa no there's two gauge clusters on the CT6. This gauge cluster and then there's the full LCD gauge cluster.
nought2Sixty oo ithought it has one type gauge cluster but i think with different type of engine the gauge will change.
Engine choice doesn't make a difference with the gauges. Just depends on what trim.

what are the measured 0-60 times for both engines?
This 3.0 TT hit 60 in 5.6 seconds.
The 3.6 did it in 6.1 seconds.

I hope they get it into production soon. I know there working to make it right because the TT V8's that are under the hood of the 7 series or S-Class and refined as hell and have a shit ton of torque.

there is a trim with the lcd gauges. personally i do not like lcd instument clusters.

LOVEBYFEW HATEDBYMANY If you knew your car well enough then you would be able to recognize the sound of the 3.0TT. It is indeed. The digital dash does not have anything to do with the 3.0TT. premium luxury and platinum trim levels have the 12" uplevel cluster..

Diamond Logistics I'm truly not understanding how you both own a CT6 yet are unfamiliar with the trim levels and what is included in the trim levels. If you can't tell by my channel and the wide variety of GM vehicles on it, I work for a Chevy/Cadillac dealer and am a sales representative so I am one to know a thing about the car. The CT6 in the luxury trim level can be ordered with the 3.0TT. Nowhere in my video, nor my description of my video this I even say this is a platinum. It is luxury trim level with the 3.0TT. the next 2 trim levels beyond the luxury are premium luxury and platinum (2018 model year). Both of those trim levels come with the 12" digital instrument cluster as standard equipment. Please do your research before you come and comment some bs calling me a clown. I know more about this car then either of you will ever know.
