It was like a cartoon. Moose are super clumsy and funny but also very dangerous. Bears will normally run while moose charge if you get too close

The moose didn't just walk in the house. She was standing outside the woman's window, but fell through the snow to the basement bedroom. The woman helped the moose by opening the basement window to let her in, but she wouldn't go up the stairs, and thereafter the woman called authorities to help her with the scared animal. The police laughed at me when I called them because the wildlife office was closed at 1am. In between gasps of laughter, they asked me why I called THEM. I said “Well, don’t you have things that make loud noises to make the bear not want to come inside my house?” My dad was a hunter for the meat we ate, but he had passed years earlier, and so I knew that at least the sound of a gun would be a deterrent. The police couldn’t stop laughing on the phone, so I just waited until my unwanted guest gave up. I lived in a subdivision, not on an acreage.
