Dirk brought the title to Dallas not Cuban. Dirk took massive pay cuts for many years and Cuban could never get even an all star around him. Cuban has the illusion of being a good owner but in reality he’s mid tier.

Cuban was good for the Mavs overall because he revived the franchise. But he was subpar as the GM. Missed on Nash, could never get a Dirk a real #2 option (J.E.T. was not that, give me a break), he wiffed on Giannis, literally couldnt land a FA signing for a decade.

@ I wouldn’t say it’s rich vs poor. both sides are fueled by money for sure. They just have differences in opinion on what is best for the country. It’s honestly rich vs rich and people have to determine what ideology gives everyone else the best opportunity to succeed.

The NBA is dying because of the presentation. It’s trying way too hard to be family friendly and cater to young audiences. They ditched the nostalgic music for a trap beat. The arenas feel like a kids birthday party more than a game when you watch them live. As an adult, I feel like I’ve outgrown it. Inside the NBA is basically a comedy show. People love it, but it doesn’t need to be the main broadcast. The league needs to take itself more seriously and cater to adults like the MLB and NFL. We want to hear real analysis and not some old NBA players that think they’re better than the current giving absolutely insane takes on the league. It’s not good for business.
