That is pretty cool, what I remember back in the day on other vehicles being known as theater dimming. The ignition key is where it should be on the dash. I know now nearly everything is push button start. However the long period of vehicles with the ignition on the steering column was a silly idea, just not nearly as intuitive as being dash-mounted. A really nice vehicle good to see that you're taking good care of it. Nice work with the wiring, I'm sure it wasn't an easy project.
@cardo1111 well said, and thank you for the kind words and appreciation of the topic, I agree all the column ignition was a bad idea, the dash level was and is the perfect area. The wiring was time consuming for sure, the good thing is or was, it came as a group harness for each set, the light all one set, dash all one set, etc so finding the routes taking apart the necessary dash pieces, and the side plate and carpet for the rear so yea I guess it is a lot of work, back in the days they would use one wire splice method thru out , it's easier in that aspect , all good though thanks for watching and commenting
