One positive of this injury is that it has solidified Suki's acceptance/love for Raya, its so sweet to see her standing guard over Raya and trying to comfort her.
This brings tears to my eyes, seeing angel Raya in this situation. But from every dark cloud comes sunshine from behind: they are building closer bonds and Raya is receiving greater caring attention from Queen Suki. Bless you Oliver and Hooman #2. Oliver I know you're worried about Raya and her food intake but dogs instinctively know when they need food. As long as she's drinking lots of water, she'll be just fine. At around 5:49 Suki has her look on her face of "calm child, calm." You can see her mind go "I want to growl, but she hurt". I adore Suki and Shiro❤ I love seeing them slowly warm up to Raya ❤. Raya hurting herself was perfectly timed if you ask me, after Shiro warms up, but before Suki had a chance to notice her instincts kicking in 🤣🤣🤣.

The very best signs are (1) that she is drinking, (2) that she is still very interested in what is going on around her, (3) that she wants to play and finally, (4) she is carefully trying out how to move around. Dr Suki is doing extensive, gentle sniff tests to make her diagnosis and she is giving TLC. Shiro just waiting patiently. Human #2 is moving slowly and gently as he passed Raya. Oliver making soft and loving commentary. Horrible time but good progress is being made by brave Raya thanks to the family. x

It's so interesting to see how the three interact when Raya is injured, and especially how both Suki and Shiro rely on their sense of smell. Suki keeps sniffing Raya all over, trying to investigate and to solve the problem. Shiro did this in a previous video too. It's so endearing.
