Sorry for the constant splits and camera angle changes. The first one was my first time trying the angle so mb mb Next year I’ll lock in enough to do one full run trust also yee ahh transitions bro I got lazy sorry lol
i march bass clarinet in my high school but i get why a lot dont, they have the numbers for it obv (they got like 50 clarinets alone) but projection wise bass clarinets do not project nearly as much as bari saxes and also tenors, theyre also more prone to breaking than baris
@@ZachKSax I’m not quite sure tbh. I think it’s because plastic/rubber bass clarinets don’t produce an authentic sound and there’s no point if there’s already a bari sax on the field. Yes, we march with plastic/rubber clarinet, but even my lesson teacher admits that clarinet doesn’t sound good on the marching field. So maybe that also ties to why don’t march bass clarinet? That’s just my theory though. Hope that provides some new knowledge or something!
@@leaf2167 Yea so its not that they dont produce as good of a sound its that theyre very quiet and it makes more sense to either have those players learn bari to have a bigger low reed sound or play Bb clarinet for a bigger upper range
@@leaf2167 yeah my band doesn’t march either bari or bass, (someone threw a bari on the ground during choreography…) but i should be marching Soprano sax and possibly oboe for a song!!
@@ZachSwift-h1c I know our flute soloist and maybe our piccolo soloist got a little bit of footage but I’m not sure if they got a full run? As for any other flute, I’m not sure?
